Rating: Summary: A Must Read For Everyone!!! Review: I have found "Hello From Heaven" to be extremely helpful because it helped me to know and understand the after-death communication I was receiving from my inlaws and father, after they returned Home to God.This book is so helpful because it legitimizes the after-death experiences I have encountered, because of its documentation. When I meet others in my travels who are afraid to discuss their experiences, because they are concerned that others will think they are "crazy" or "hallucinating", I am always so relieved to tell them about this book to enlighten them. This helps to give them a whole new perspective on what has been happening to them, and instead of feeling like they are weird, they now realize they have been truly blessed by God. The Guggenheims have documented so many ways for people to notice after-death communications, and to be on the look-out for, that it is a God-send for anyone who reads it. ... Rating: Summary: "Joyful, Uplifting, and Comforting!" Review: I have read this book numerous times...usually when a loved one has died or when a friend or loved one is dealing with terminal illness. It has brought many, including myself, so much peace of mind. (I have had similar experiences as those described in the book). It has become a mission in life for me to share this book with others and ask them to share as well. It is not a religious or "psychic-type" book, just truly beautiful stories written by real people, not offensive to anyone. It answers a lot of questions as to Heaven and afterlife. I always tell the person about it and ask if they would like a copy. I have given out approximately 25 books so far - in many different circumstances - and am ordering another 10 tonight. No one who reads the book can ever fear death or dying again. Grief and anger for loss of a loved one is lessened. I HIGHLY recommend that you start your own "mission" with this book! Bill & Judy......how about that sequel!?
Rating: Summary: Our pets are there, too Review: I loved this book-- just stumbled on the title again on another site-- I have it in my library-- read it years ago. I used to take it to rest homes when I was a volunteer. How the patients loved those stories! I hope to be doing this again in the near future and I can tell you that book is going with me! I do want to say that our pets have an afterlife as well; there is rock-solid evidence for this.In the book THE SOUL OF YOUR PET, (Scott S. Smith) there are well-over 100 recountings of encounters with pets who have crossed over. Sometimes there are multiple witnesses, and sometimes living pets react to the spirit animal. Also, many people who have had NDE's have seen their own departed pets and/or animals they don't recognize on the Other Side. The concept of animal afterlife is fully-Biblical, too. For example, in the Book of Revelations it plainly states that ALL animals will praise God at the Throne. Kind of hard to do if you no longer exist, I think. After all, what would the afterlife be like without our beloved animal children/companions? God knows our symbiotic love and has made provision for this. The best time to read a book like this is when your pet is young and healthy. It can help enormously to prepare us for the inevitable.
Rating: Summary: Interesting! Review: I purchased this book last year after losing my father. I had gone to a website about life after death to find some answers. This book was on their recommended reading list, so I bought it. Each chapter describes different accounts of ADC's or after death communications, such as feeling a touch, hearing a voice, or smelling a fragrance. Each account is fascinating, and the most comforting fact I learned is that no matter what condition a person was in when they passed away-whether it be disease, if they were crippled or whatever-they are completely restored and appear to be in the prime of their lives. Our loved ones are happy, content and whole. The subject of suicide is also powerful here. It definitely has negative connotations on the other side. Believe me, this is a wonderful book; I just bought it for my sister-in-law who lost her mother 3 months before my father died. She can't put it down, either. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is searching for answers and needs to know that their loved one is o.k.

Rating: Summary: Interesting, and Informative Review: I read the book "hello for heaven" about 6 months after my 21 year old tragcially passed away. Hailing from the Caribbean, I grew up in a very spiritual way, especially were death was concerned. One grows up to have a lot of belief in the spiritual world. I did not know how to handle the confusing emotions that comes along with the grief of losing a child. I wondered constantly as to what happens when they die and leave you forever. The book was given to me by my sister. After I started reading the book, I just could not put it down, as it was touching close to my heart, after losing my son. It was even more exhilirating, when James Van Praag, spoke to a woman at a hospital, who was crying, and he related to her about how her son dies, the circumstances, and even the clothes her son was wearing at the time of his death. Reading this book, helped me with a lot of confusing emotions that I was experiencing. Maybe this book will not help everyone, but it is definitely an EYE OPENER to the "otherside"
Rating: Summary: Not very usefull Review: I was looking more for answers but what I got were "ghost" stories. Reminded me of a Readers Digest. I know this book will help give hope to those who have lost a loved one...but when you lose a loved one you are willing to believe anything. The book discusses all the different ways you can have an ADC (after death communication). Talks of how the "spirits" communicate to us using all of our senses; audible,visual,smell,etc...lots of short blurbs about peoples "actual" experiences.. No hard facts to go on just stories...
Rating: Summary: This book is uplifting, inspiring, comforting and wonderful! Review: I would recommend Hello from Heaven for anyone...it is a very spiritual, uplifting sojourn through what most of us think as a very mysterious, even scary, place - the "hereafter". The stories will bring hope and peace to those who have lost a loved one, those suffering through a pending loss-including their own death - and those who just don't really believe in all that "life after death stuff". This book will make a believer of you. Caution: when you buy this book, better buy 4 or 5 more copies because you, like myself, will find that you will want to share it with many others. (I'm placing another order tonight). THIS IS A WONDERFUL BOOK!!!!
Rating: Summary: Useful on many levels Review: If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, this book will bring you comfort and reassurance. It offers a more objective approach to studying these experiences, particularly with those whose ADCs preceded their knowledge that the individual contacting them had in fact died.
Rating: Summary: Comfort for those left behind Review: If you feel guilty or angry or depressed about the loss of a loved one--whether death occurred suddenly or after a long illness--this little book will enable you to deal with these emotions and the full range of others following a loss. Even though I had accepted that eventually I would lose my parents, the death of my mother was overwhelming. I read many chapters & verses in my bible, watched uplighting programs in the middle of the night, but my true comfort came through "Hello from Heaven!" I would love to see my mother, and the Guggenheims indicate that all of us may have the opportunity to experience the closeness of a loved one who has departed for a better, more glorious, and incredibly unimaginable place for us. The encounters that they researched & described are so uplifting and comforting, and their own personal comments about the experiences of others are like frosting on the cake! How wonderful to read something by writers who come across as very humble in their writing, but who offer so much hope and comfort for those of us left behind. Thank you, Bill & Judy!
