Rating: Summary: legend: one of the best Review: As a collector with over 75 different decks. This is one of my most used. I rate it in my top 5 for easy read, and excellent easy to understand book. If you like the legend it has stories for each card to help beginers remember the meanings, and the art work is just beautiful.
Rating: Summary: Good for spiritual, terrible for divination. Review: As beautiful and attractive as these cards are, they just don't work well for me. I think the colors are the biggest problem here. I hate watercolors since they're not bright enough, and I don't think the color usage is appopriate for certain cards. For example, The Magician a.k.a Merlin should be wearing red, white, and gold/yellow, but instead Merlin is wearing blue/violet which I think is better suited on The High Priestess or The Moon. That is just my preference. The pictures don't speak to me because nothing is very eye-popping. Each card looks too similar. However, they work pretty well when I ask questions on a much more spiritual and personal level. Yet I find these cards a little difficult to understand when I'm trying to do readings for others. These cards are definitely not for beginners, you need to already have knowledge of the Tarot. Terrible for divination (you're still better off with Rider Waite), but great for anything personal and spiritual. Amazing for the psychological insight of yourself and others if your expierenced.
Rating: Summary: Pure Camelot Review: Beautiful to look at, and easy to read. This deck is a gem.The colors grab you and take you back to the time when knighthood was in flower. If the book was in color these would rate a 5; even without the color there is a lot of detail in the content. These are a must for collectors of cards. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Worth every cent and more. Review: I bought this deck as my first, when I was 14. Eight years and seven decks later, I still hold it close to my heart. The cards have so much emotion and symbolism in them, you can't help but get an idea of what each card means. The watercolors are amazing, in my opinion. Some people didn't like the skin color, I guess it depends on preference. The deck also comes with the most gorgeous layout sheet I've seen thus far. Purple sheet with a great tree and sleeping dragons, symbolic of Pendragon. The book is really awesome in that each card is fully described and comes with a pertaining Arthurian story. Ferguson takes information from all of the sources on Arthurian legend to give you a clearer and unbiased view of who these characters were. For those who have a zest for Arthurian legend, definitely go for this deck. If you love Mists of Avalon, you'll love this. Only thing that bugs me is that the cards chip pretty fast. Then again, cards chip fast with me in general.

Rating: Summary: Beautiful to look at, but difficult for beginners like me. Review: I bought this set because the art work intrigued me. I certainly must say the art is beautiful. However, I am just a beginner, learning Tarot and find this deck is way beyond my level. I've enjoyed looking at the cards and the book and decided to put it aside until I am more advanced. I'd highly recommend this book, but not as a learning tool.
Rating: Summary: The artwork is so beautiful Review: I do agree with the other person who commented. The artwork is so gorgeous and the book is very interesting.I am so glad I got this set.I have learned some very useful information.
Rating: Summary: Very easy to relate to and learn from. Review: I got the cards originally for their beautiful artwork, and because I was interested in the Arthurian Legend. I found, though, that my knowledge of the legend made the tarot experience more valuable and insightful. I think you should get cards which you relate to personally, so if you're interested in the Arthurian Legend, I highly recommend these cards.
Rating: Summary: The only deck I ever burned Review: I hated this deck. It is extremely misogynistic. Usually if I just didn't like a deck I would give it away in hopes that it would speak to someone else but this is a deck that I truly felt like I would be passing on ill will if I gave it to anyone. The colors are faded and the artwork is not very detailed but that is not enough to hate it. What bothered me the most is all the women (of which there are few) are represented as evil or in torture (such as the rape of Gwenevere card). It doesn't represent the legend of King Authur as I know it and would only be a good deck if you hate women.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful, Dramtic, Inspiring! Review: I have been reading Tarot for 19 years. During those years I have used many decks but all achieve the same result - divination, suggestions for bettering our lives, defining our goals and ultimately defining our place in this cosmos. I have been using the Robin Wood Deck (also found at Amazon.com). This deck really is perfect for me but I wanted more of a challenge in interpreting the Minor Arcana. I studied the Arthurian cards and found a "je ne sais quoi" when I tried to read them. Something called to me from the depths of the depictions on the cards, it was an almost physical sensation that drew me to them. The cards are studded with legend regarding Arthur, his knights and their battles. I switched to this deck recently and am currently studying them in depth. New readers will be overcome by their beauty, practiced readers will find not only charm but symbolism that will spark new and creative thoughts for them. The book "Keeper of the Wor! ds" is not only a book which meticulously explains the symbolism of each card but a story book as well. I would bring the book to bed with me at night; and then, curled in my nice big bed I would read about the deeds, dreams, visions and ultimately the everlasting legend that this time period brings to us. I can honestly recommend this book to everyone. Enjoy and be prepared to be fascinated!
