Rating: Summary: truely spectaclar deck, best I have seen Review: In the 5 years I have been reading Terot cards, I have seen many different decks, but this is leaps and bounds ahead of all I have seen. The Artwork is so intricately detailed, and the subjects chosen for each card match so well with the meanings of the cards that reading this deck is easy enough for a begining reader, and detailed enough for those who are more practiced at the art. The accompanying book gives such wonderful background information on the Arthurian legends that I often read it just for the stories it contains. If you have even the slightest interest in terot reading or the myths of King Arthur, I say buy this deck. You won't be disapointed.
Rating: Summary: Excellent read, great explainations Review: The art on the deck is extremely beautiful. It captured the essence of the meanings on the cards. When I first looked through my deck I get all sorts of vivid feelings going down my spine, some on them made me shiver, some I just couldn't take my eyes off. The book "Keeper of Words" which comes with the set (so, don't buy the book as the feature combo says, or else you'll get a double) is a good explainer in the way that it talks about every aspect of the card - its meaning, the story behind the picture on the card and have it relate back to its meaning, lots of background info. A great set.

Rating: Summary: All-star art Review: These cards rank with the highest with their incredible art. The execution of the paintings used in this deck is sublime. I have many decks with incredible art, and these shine brightly in any setting. Besides this, the use of the legends surrounding King Arthur work well with the traditional tarot meanings, and this enhances the readability of the deck as a whole. An excellent choice, whether for art collector or tarot afficiando.
Rating: Summary: Legend: The Arthurian Tarot Review: This Book gives an amazing insight to the lay reader. Tarot is often a difficult thing to come to terms with, however with the insight that a knowledge of Arthurian Legend and these cards allow, will take your readings a step further than most readings go. Originally drawn to these cards by the artwork and being an avid reader of Merlin and the many facets of Arthurian Legend; as such they allow me to lay out a story that leads the client through their own parallel story. Though the cards deviate slightly from the norm, they do allow a more vivid explanation and the book is very detailed, allowing a new reader the opportunity to learn as he or she goes. I recommend these cards to everyone, but I also say that you should find the cards that speak to you. Each reader is different and therefore so are their decks. even the plainest of decks in the right hands can give a remarkable and powerful reading. These cards, seem to have taken on my own dry sarcasm, as such if you ask the wrong question or a general question you get a very sarcastic answer, a strange but often humorous reminder that a reading is more than just a set of cards on the table, it is a story about the clients' life.
Rating: Summary: A Nice Companion to the Deck Review: This book is meant to accompany the tarot deck by the author. As such, it provides a nice background to the Authurian aspects of the art of the cards as well as providing the general tarot meanings. On its own, the book would not really be of any substantial value.
Rating: Summary: Best Tarot Deck and book ever! Review: This deck and book literally make every reading i do more accurate and feel right. It is easier for me to identify with the Arthurian symbolism than the traditional decks. I LOVE this deck.

Rating: Summary: Not Too Shabby Review: This deck and concomitant guide are a nice addition to ones tarot collection. I do have some critisism to lend. The art is nicely rendered, if not overly subdued, the colour rather washed, with the subjects seeming to be posed from a '70s Renaissance Faire-that's 1970s not 1170s. The book is helpful, and as others have described, does a nice job of explaining the cards and the context to Arthurian legend. Despite my critisism, I still recommend the cards and guide.
Rating: Summary: Downside: Ashen Skins, but Overall, Quite Well Done! Review: This set for cards and book is a very nice find for anyone interested in the myths and legends of King Arthor. The illustrations are very well done and the book is quite useful in looking up the background history for the vasious characters on the cards. My only problem is that the designs concerning humans look terribly ashen. Granted, people of the time period were not that fleshtoned, but I doubt that peole looked that palid. Overall, I found this set to be quite useful and very inspiring.
