Rating: Summary: it's just for entertainment Review: This is a cute story. That's all. Yes, there are other Nora Robert's book that will "enchant" you, but if you've read the first three, you've got to at least give this a chance. Read it for the fantasy of it! I didn't find Liam "creepy". If you read the book in the spirit it's intended, a romantic fantasy, it's a nice read... relaxing and an enjoyable addition to the Donovan Legacy.
Rating: Summary: Entertaining Magic Review: I've never read the Donovan Legacy before and having read this, I'm much looking forward to reading the first three books. I found it "fictionally entertaining" due to the magical scenes and witchcraft. The two contrasting characters were pretty good. You have Liam, the badass witch (which Roberts introduced as a very selfish person) and Rowan, the soft-hearted, too-good-for- anybody type character. The way they fell inlove could've been explored a little bit more, instead of it being cut-and-dry. But then again, the story does follow the characters in it. All in all, it's pretty good... and the almost malicious sex scenes are not so bad either. You can finish the book in a few hours!
Rating: Summary: Total Disappointment Review: I have read most of Nora Robert's books. This one must the worst. I loved her 3 other books in this series so much that I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. However, this one is a total disappointment to me. I hate the hero in the story. How anyone can fall in love with a guy whose morality is so low that he turns into a wolf to watch a woman undress and bath and have sex with her in her dreams without her knowledge and consent is beyond me. It is a waste of my time, money and energy. I should have believed some of the earlier reviewers here instead of thinking "it can't be that bad". It is the first time I can't finish one of Nora Robert's books. I tried three times and I gave up.
Rating: Summary: The Donovan Legacy continues Review: Enchanted is the next book in the Donovan Legacy series. If the reader has read the previous books, this one is a charming addition. It stands on it's own as well if you haven't read the others. The relationship between Liam Donovan and Rowan Murray begins in Oregon where Rowan has gone on vacation to a friends cabin. Rowan becomes alarmed when she sees a golden-eyed black wolf watching her but then she begins to become more comfortable with the presence of the wolf. She meets her elusive neighbor, Liam, and is mystified by him. She begins having erotic dreams of Liam she can't explain. Liam is a Donovan witch and can 'shape-shift' into different forms. He is the wolf that watches Rowan and who she has taken into her home. I found Enchanted to be an excellent addition to the Donovan Legacy and enjoyed it from beginning to end. It lives up to the other books in the series and was an enjoyable read.
Rating: Summary: A Charming Romance Review: I was entranced with the story of Rowan and Liam. It was a wonderful story filled with wonder. Unfortunately, Ms. Roberts was sadly lacking in some parts of the story. I had read the previous stories with the Donovan Legacy and I found somethings not true. I understand Morgana and Sebastian had twins, well, Ana had triplets. In the story, Enchanted, Sebastian only had a son and his wife was pregnant. Also, in Ana's Story, I believe was Charmed, there is no mention of Liam attending the birth of Morgana's twins' Birth. Over all, you will be thrilled with this wonderful, charming story filled with magic.
Rating: Summary: Not Enchanted! Review: Considering how much I enjoyed the first three books in the Donovan series, I can't understand why I disliked this book as much as I did. Until I read Enchanted, I literally gulped down Nora Roberts's books and couldn't wait to begin an unread series. The story of Liam, another Donovan cousin, and his relationship with a new female neighbor begins in remote cabins place in rural Oregon. As Liam presents himself to Rowen, who he later learns is a very distant cousin, he is at first a friendly wolf. Readers quickly realize that Liam is a shape shifter along with his parents. And again as his relationship becomes more serious he wonders how he will explain not only his powers to Rowen, but his place in the family as the rughtful leader. There is the requisite meeting of the entire Donovan clan, who readers of the trilogy have met before, but by then the family closeness and words of wisdom came a little too late for me as a reader. I regret that I didn't enjoy this book more but even with a favorite author, I guess readers would find one or two books they just didn't care for as much as others. But it certainly won't stop me from reading other series by Mrs. Roberts. As I sit here and finish this review, I'm already thinking about what books I'll read next by Nora Roberts.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: I really enjoyed this book, as well as the other Donovan family stories. I just hope that she will write more about them!
Rating: Summary: enchanted Review: Wonderful story! Well written as all of Ms. Roberts books are. For those of you who rated this book poorly, get an imagination! Its a fantasy! I have read all of Ms. Roberts books, and the series written as J.D. Robb. The Donovans are one of my favorites! Makes me want to travel to Ireland tomorrow! Keep up the good work, Ms. Roberts! (What did happen to Sebastain and Mels twins, Shawn and Keely? This didn't take away from the story, but left me a little confused)
Rating: Summary: I enjoyed it Review: I haven't read the three preceding books yet, but I thought this was an interesting book. Liam Donovan is a witch and a shapeshifter (he usually switches to wolf-form) and he really doesn't want to accept his destiny, which is Rowan Murray. Rowan has come to spend time in an isolated cabin seeking to find herself and instead befriends a wolf and a very mysterious neighbor. I liked the scenes where Liam's parents appear and all three couples from the previous Donovan books appear as well. Not Nora's absolute best, but very enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: enchanting Review: i really liked this book with the idea of fate magic wolves and faeries.i loved that liam was a shapeshifter and his chosen form was a wolf,a very beautiful and intelligent creature,it is time that this animal be shown in true light.i really liked how liam came to her as the wolf when she was in need and was a friend.i thought rowan was a great evolving character and really liked her for her weakness turning into something extrondinary.i kinda got a little bored and since i am now beginning to read the other three i will wait with that review for a question i have concerning the book...overall enjoyable read .
