Rating: Summary: enchanted Review: I really enjoyed this whole book and was wondering if you are going to have a seconded part about this book. Please let me know thanks.
Rating: Summary: Enchanted Indeed! Review: This book is awesome! I fell for it as soon as I started reading it. Before, I thought Sebastian was just the man, and now that I have read this Liam is really the man! The two of them were my favorite characters in the books about the Donovans. Liam's character was handsome, dark, and mysterious! I not only found a plot, but understood it and enjoyed it. There was heat between Liamand Rowan as soon as they met and it didn't end even at the end. This book and The Donovan Legacy make you wish you had that kind of magic inside of you, and yern for more. The only thing I had a problem with is that with The Donovan Legacy Sebastian and Mel had twins, Shawn & Keely, and with Enchanted they only had Aiden and she was pregnant again. I would really like to know what happened there. This book makes you believe in the goodness of magic and love. I will definitly read both books more than once!
Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: This book just never grabbed my attention, I'm afraid. I can usually finish a category romance in an evening, and this took me several days because I kept putting it aside. I found the hero not very heroic, the heroine was showing a lot more angst than her situation called for (so was the hero, IMHO) and the hero's parents were more deus ex machina than real characters. The love story had no heat, either. Moreover, it didn't have the same fun and fire of the other Donovan books. Read them, and give this one a miss.
Rating: Summary: You have to have imagination in order to understand... Review: Like I said You have to have imagination to understand this. Frankly, I really love this book it is so romantic..I fell in love with Liam. The wolf (Liam) was so cute and very nicely described. I recommend this to everyone!. To those who criticized this book in a bad way.. I have one question for you all..Do you have any imagination at all?. (no offense)
Rating: Summary: More Donovan's please but not like this one. Review: So dissappointing after the wonderful books Captivated, Entranced, and Charmed. Nora should have left well enough alone if this was the only inspiration for continuing the series.A self-centered hero and a lovestruck wimpy heroine, no plot. The premise had promise but there was no follow through. This Donovan, Liam is a second cousin to the original Donovans. He's isolated himself in the mountains to make a life altering decision. He must decide whether or not he wishes to assume the mantle of Prince of his people from his father. On the wind is carried a message... Love is coming for him. He is determined not to let this influence his choice, in fact he shrewdly decides to use the fact to support his ultimate decision. As prince he must marry another hereditary witch. Should the woman not be so, he can use his love as an excuse to decline. Should she be one, he can reject her and make it his reason to decline. His gift is the ability to shapeshift. His favorite form is that of a wolf and that's how he meets the heroine. She is on retreat in an effort to come to a decision of her own. She is dissatisfied with the life choices that have been essentially made for her. She is unfullfilled with her teaching job and with her blase' relationship with her fiance'. She wants to be alone to make a life altering decision. So far so good. She is taken with the wolf but not so taken with his human counterpart. He is determined not to let her get close in his human form. He does, however, take advantage of her loving nature in his animal form, sleeping in her bed, watching her bathe. Ugh. The catch is that he knows she is a hereditary witch, a fact that has been kept from her. At last, in order to reveal what she is to her, he must reveal himself. Justifably furious with his deceit, she flees, staying away and rebuilding her life until approached by Liam's mother who tells her he's miserable. Swallowing her pride she returns to him. He grudgingly admits that he loves her qualifying it by saying that he doesn't have to like it. Sheesh. Oh and by the way he's decided to be prince regardless of how his romantic life turns out. What a boor!
Rating: Summary: Nora Roberts captures you yet again... Review: This book really grabs your attention and takes you off to another world. A world in which anything is possible--magic, faeries, spells--things that most of us have not come in contact with in the real world. She takes these elements and interweaves a wonderful love story with them, with human characters, each with their own faults and weaknesses. Nora Roberts has a gift for being very real in her portrayal of real-life situations. I enjoy every one of her books--they are a wonderful escape. All I can say is that you must read it in order to fully appreciate it!
Rating: Summary: Ehhh Review: I usually love Nora Roberts but this time, I was left confused. Some things were explained others weren't. Then at the end I was left hanging. Maybe the rest of the Donovon Legacy will be better.
Rating: Summary: You have to have imagination Review: I'm a big fan of Nora Roberts. I think the lady has a lot of talent and I like reading her books. This one was probably a little far out, but when reading a book a person needs to remember it is just a story. I don't think this book cramped her style any and I'll read whatever she writes again. I'll share the book with my reading friends.
Rating: Summary: great book! Review: I really enjoyed this book. I always enjoy a sequel to one of Nora's books. My only problem was what happened to Sebastian and Mel's other children? At the end of Entranced she talks of a Keely and Shawn. Where did they go? In the family tree at the beginning of Enchanted it shows them to have only one child and his name is Aiden. Maybe Mel should hire herself to find her own missing children!
Rating: Summary: The ways of magic Review: Enchanted by Nora Roberts is an amazing book. I've never read anything alike. For those who love the deep meanings of poetry and still understand the nature of human doubts regarding feelings, Enchanted is the perfect book for you. "Blessed be."
