Summary: Not My Cup Of Tea
Review: I'm more into vampire tales with romance than romance with vampires, so maybe that's why I found the book less than expected. I'd recommend it to people who like romance books, but not those who favor serious supernatural books. Blah

Summary: Read This One First!
Review: This book is the first in the series and gives all the backround on the Carpathians. Very well done!

Summary: To be Carpathian
Review: I've read all of the Dark series, and this book is still my favorite. The first chapter is a little confusing because the reader is dropped into the telepathic conversation between Mikhail and Raven. However, once you get past that, this book showers the reader with beautiful imagery and a canvas of interesting characters. This, the book that started all the Carpathians' tales, is by far the best.

Summary: a true masterpiece
Review: THIS BOOK WAS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST VAMPIRE BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. EVERY PAGE KEPT ME SPELLBOUND. I LOOK FORWARD TO READING ALL OF THIS SERIES. THANK YOU CHRISTINE FOR A WONDERFUL STORY.

Summary: realistic great romance
Review: i realized i put realistic romance and this book deals with vampire like people, but the writing is so realistic it is the most appropriate word. when i want to read a romance book it needs to have ROMANCE. if you don't want to have to read 200 pages before any romantic scenes get this book! i ordered this as an afterthought because i like science fiction with romance and never read this more gothic type. the scenes are just those, scenes and story lines with believable people and happenings and GREAT elements! now i have to wait (and i am lousy at that)for christine feehan's other dark series books to get here. so i'm reading dark prince for the fourth time while i am waiting!

Summary: The best vampire series ever!
Review: I have read other vampire series but nothing beats Christine Feehan's Dark Series. Mikhail Dubrinsky and Raven Whitney are the perfect love match. The romance and the love scenes are absolutely STEAMING!! I couldn't put it down! This book (and the others in this series) are definitely keepers. I highly recommend this one.

Summary: A So-So read
Review: I was very excited when I heard about this book and read all the wonderful reviews. So I was very surprised that this book was not as great as I thought it would be. I actually found it hard to get into and finish. A book that would normally take me two days to finish took me a week. It was a good enough storyline, but there was not enough romance, theirs seemed a sick relationship, like a stalkers obsession. I didn't feel that she had free choice in falling in love with him, he kind of made her do it. I also didn't like all the Carpathian healing and blood giving. It seem to take up most of the book. I heard that the rest of the books in this series aren't as bad so I'll give her one more chance and see what happens.

Summary: You wonder how vampires can be boring? Read this book...
Review: This book starts off interestingly enough with psychic connections and sexual tension. However, the author just takes the Carpathian concept and makes it redundant with a lot of pages spent on which Carpathian is sucking each others blood to save each other's lives. She takes a fascinating topic and turns it boring and mundane! She seems to be trying to set up a series of books from the very first page. Not worth the time.

Summary: DARK PRINCE
Review: An excellent read. I hated to put it down. I hated it to end. Christene Feehan is my new favorite author. She does not disappoint. I think this is her best of the DARK series. It grabs you at the beginning and continues its grip to the very end. Wonderfully romantic and exciting.

Summary: It was fantastic. A new author to love!
Review: I stumbled across this book by accident and fell in love with it about 10 pages in. The story grips you, the heat/sex will melt you, and the end will keep you wanting more. After reading this book I had to go out and get all the other books Christine has written. I just can't put them down.
