Summary: This book captures your attention and awakens your senses
Review: From the very beginning of this book I was hooked... I typically like to give a book a couple of chapters before I will give up on it... I was locked in after reading only a couple pages... Mikhail is just a masterful character that commands your attention from the beginning... Raven is truly his "lifemate" and extremely compatiable to his dominant character... Christine Feehan is an incredible writer or artist... because she weaves incredible feeling that will take your breath away. I was so moved by this book and her writing style I went out and ordered the rest of the series... Keep writing Christine...you have been blessed with a gift!

Summary: good read
Review: Christine Feehan has managed to make the Carpathian male into the perfect faithful mate. She does this without being overly obvious or corny in the attempt. Her creation is imaginative and believable because of the detail she puts into the description of the Carpathian civilization. Dark Prince is a good read. The suspense builds quite quickly and holds the attention of the reader. There is a little gore. But what's a vampire tale without gore? The romance doesn't take a backseat to the mystery or the science fiction aspects of the story. Raven and Mikhail are quite memorable. They are a strong hero and heroine. Their closeness is what all people should desire in a relationship. I especially loved Raven and Mikhail's first conversation and their first meeting. The ending was beautiful. I can't wait to read more about Gregori.

Summary: Absolutly thrilling
Review: Can I say brava this book is a one in a million. when I first Read this book I loved it so much that I carried it around with me all the time I just had to read it over and over. The hero Mikail really irked me at first with his possessiveness but as the plot thickened I came to appreciate it for a few reasons. As for the herione Raven thank you for keeping it real in the 21-century. All in all I give this novel on the tops in me book. If you enjoy vampire books this is a must read.

Summary: Don't Miss This One!
Review: This is one of the best Vampire/romance/adventure books I have ever read. Lots of steamy scenes, a new twist on Vampires and a little blood and action to rev things up! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great first book in a wonderful series
Review: Dark Prince was the first vampire romance novel I had ever read. I was fascinated and intrigued by the wonderful characters Christine Feehan had created. I have read many other vampire romances since, but I have found none to match this Dark series. Do yourself a favor and buy all of them at once, because once you read the first one, you won't want to stop until you have read them all.

Summary: Good "Stop the World and let me get off" read
Review: This was a very good book. I've put off reading it even though all of the reviews have been all raves. I picked it up the other day after reading Nancy Gideon's Midnight Redeemer (excellent!) and found I could not put it down. I loved Mikhail. There is really something very appealing/sexy about a man who can be a beast/dangerous and so gentle and loving. I fell for him immediately. Raven I wasn't too thrilled with and is why my book rating dropped from a 4 to a 3. A lot of the problems they had were caused by her. But I really enjoyed the other characters especially Jacques and Gregori. I would not count this book as a keeper, but I am eager to go out and read her other books in the series. The author has truly created an interesting world/slant to the vampire stories. Visiting the world of the Carpathians was a great way to escape from the real world for a while. I hope her other books are as good.

Summary: I am a convert!!!
Review: I have always been a lover of historical fiction and read very little 'current' stuff. I define current as having motor vehicles and addressing day to day issues as we know them now. Now, I wait with bated breath for the next issue. I have NEVER bought an author before, but I have gone and gotten each and every one of these books, with the exception of Dark Gold, which introduced me to Christine. I found that one at the library. But I DO intend to go out and add it to my collection. I have read all of these books more than once and will continue to do so, something I have never done. Carpathians (and Christine Feehan!) are the best!!!

Summary: OH MY!!!!
Review: This book was absolutely fantastic! Mikhail and Raven were perfect for each other. He was a sexy carpathian and she was psychic. As soon as Mikhail senses her the sparks fly. When he realizes she is his true mate nothing will stop him from claiming her and protecting her. Everything in this book kept you hooked while the sex scenes left you fanning yourself and reaching for ice. Keep it up Christine you could never write enough of these stories!!

Summary: Christine Feehan has created a new genre: Carpathians
Review: Not yet a vampire but not a human, Carpathians are of the earth and have the ability to control nature. Shapeshifting, mind control and their own brand of justice - these beings are unique, enthralling and terribly exciting! If you enjoy the darker side of romance, love with a slight chill running down your spine read The Dark Series!

Mikhail Dubrinsky is the oldest existing Carpathian, he is considered one of the Ancients - although he looks like a fallen angel. His power is incredible, his responsibilities are enormous and his law is absolute. Yet his destiny lies in the soul of one petite woman who is both exquisite and intelligent, not to mention human. Of course, what else would his lifemate be?

Raven Whitney never thought her psychic abilities would bring her the love of her life, nor did she realize he would change her life forever! The only thing she knew for sure was that she loved this arrogant, totally male being with all of her heart and there was nothing she wouldn't do to make him smile, unless he became too sure of himself... then she'd have to put him in his place :)

Come and join the family! Meet Mikhail and Raven, Jacques, Gregori, Byron, Celeste, Aidan and Julian... just to name a few! But beware: once you start there is no looking back! This is a series full of promise and love, and of course a Dark side!

Summary: Not for weak stomaches
Review: I'm sorry I couldn't finish this book. I guess there is a certain kind of reader that finds romance in drinking blood. I am not one of them. I was torn during the part when the people were going to kill the pregnant vampire. While the story leads you to feel for the vampires theres still a matter of conscience and self preservation that screams "put a stake in her heart!"
