Summary: Sizzling and Compelling
Review: This is my first book of Cherry Adair and surely not the last. I am more into Historical Romance Novels, however, I give few "contemporary romance books" a try too especially if the rating is a high one. I am glad I gave this book a try as it was most definitely a worthy read. I agree with Susan Anderson, author of BABY DON'T GO, when she said that this book is " A Sexy, Snappy Roller-Coaster Ride". It truly is!

Marnie Wright is my first contemporary heroine favorite. She is totally unpredictable. She is full of surprises! One minute she is stuck-shivering with fear then next thing u know, she is running towards the bullet saving the man she loves. She can be forward one minute then shy the next. She can give in yet she also might not... Her personality goes with the flow of the moment, flow of the situation, flow of life. She has consistencies only when she really wants something bad. She can be very persistant (and annoyingly cute) when she wants to be. I love the way she speaks her mind, the way she tease and twist Jake's words to trap (more like confuse him). She got the spunk and the WIT. I enjoyed her character immensely. Jake Dolan is a hard and a VERY cautious man. Betrayals in the past contributed to his emptiness. His childhood wasn't a happy one. He didn't have family to love him in contrast to Marnie's overloving surrounding. He believes he doesn't have a heart and people said so too. But Marnie believes otherwise. Marnie brings out the best of him even in such a short span of time... and in that, I was convince that Jake truly needs Marnie --- he needs her bright outlook in life. He needs her love and her family to belong... Their love story was a sizzling and a heart warming one.

Now, the action twist of this book is definitely the one thing I didn't expect to be engrossly involved in. I am not big on "ACTION". But the way Cherry Adair plots it and her words that described everything simply pulled me in. I was too involved that I felt my heart stopped every now and then. No dull moments here. Readers will have to read this book in one seating.

I believe Cherry Adair is a talented writer. I will read more of her books especially the upcoming HIDE AND SEEK, which is a story of Kyle Wright, brother of Marnie. Hope it will contain updates of Marnie and Jake, as well as lots of heart stopping surprises and sizzling romances just like this one. I also would love to read Michael's story, he is one of my favorite secondary character in this book. He was also tough, hard and manly... or better yet, Ms. Adair, why not write a book for each of the Wright Brothers.

READ "KISS AND TELL" and BE GLUED.

Summary: Best Book I've Read All Year!
Review: This book was so entertaining, anyone could sit down and have a good time! Whether you enjoy romance or just suspense, this book has both in abundance! I stumbled across Kiss And Tell quite by accident, and thank God I did, I definitely would have lost out had I not read it. Not to mention Ms. Adair is now an auto buy author for me, and ranks right up there with Linda Howard and Sandra Brown. I look forward to every book she writes in the future. I suspect she's going to be a very HOT author! Anyone who didn't just absolutely enjoy this story really should reavaluate their taste! It had the three 'musts' that I look for in a book, Laughter, sensuality, and suspense. I loved the humor, Marnie had me laughing out loud while my children stared at me thinking I'd lost my mind! However, the Hero, whew, what can I say the man is SEXY AS SIN!!!! If you've not already read this book, run, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore(or order it right here) and pick up a copy, today!

Summary: quick and fun
Review: Sure the theme is old -- nice girl meets military stud. You probably won't be surprised when they face danger and find love. But if you like Linda Howard, you will like Cherry Adair. The writing is crisp, the dialog is fun and other than a happy ending, you can't tell what will happen next. Jake's a stud, I wouldn't mind meeting a on lonely mountain and Marnie is just plain fun. It truely is "a sassy, sexy roller coaster ride".

Summary: Amateurish...
Review: I don't know about others, but I didn't like this book at all.

First and most importantly the writting is funny and childish. You don't get the feeling that a professional wrote the book. Phrases like "Now they were rolling on the ground" don't impress me.

Secondly, the heroine seemed extremely helpless and useless. She did absolutely nothing but watch the camera screens and shout at Jake. I found that it was extremely ennoying and also childish.

The action wasn't fast paced, like many reviews claim it to be and the story kind of sucked!

If you are familiar with romantic suspense by authors like Linda Howard, Elizabeth Lowell and Sandra Brown (to name a few), I don't think you'll like this book.

All in all, one of the worst books I've read so far.

But hey! Maybe I'm just a seasoned reader and don't appreciate new wrtiters.

I'll give Cherry Adair another try,... but...

Summary: Watch out for this one!
Review: I've been reading romance forever, and there's nothing I love better than discovering a new author. Cherry Adair is a wonderful find. The action in this book is non-stop, I couldn't put it down either. Marnie and Jake make a beautiful couple. With the exception of the last few pages, nothing about their relationship is predictable. I also liked the strong sense of family in this book. I can't wait for her next novel. Cherry, you've made a new fan!

Summary: Lots of fun, but ...
Review: I really enjoyed Kiss and Tell, and do look forward to further offerings by Cherry Adair. I do not, however, feel that Ms. Adair yet compares to Suzanne Brockmann or Linda Howard - her writing lacks the intensity and environmental detail that raise these authors above the common.

In particular, I was drawn to this book because it purported to be set in Northern California - the area to which I am native. However, despite the fact that my home town is part of the setting, the author gives no sense of the region - the action could have occurred anywhere. This is not a serious deficit in a book, and I did enjoy the characters and their interaction, but it was a missed opportunity to provide realistic detail, which often makes the difference between fun and memorable.

This was a very entertaining story, and I, too, look forward to hearing more about Marnie's mysterious brothers, as well as the forthcoming novel featuring another T-FLAC operative.

Summary: What a great book to read on a cloudy day!
Review: I got this book in the mail today, and once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It was very funny and sexy in all the right places. The characters are a blast. I love Marnie and Jake as a couple because they are perfect together. I couldn't stop laughing towards the end when Marnie beats up the trader from Jake's past. The girl was spitting mad and I could picture the scene in my head. This book was a perfect pick me up for a cloudy and rainy day. I can't wait to read Cherry's next book that tells Hunt St. John's story!!!

Summary: Great book!!!
Review: This book was great. It was a real page turner. From the description I thought it would be a boring romance novel. This theory was proven untrue from the first page to the last. It was a total sensual book that kept you waiting on the edge to discover what was going to occur next. I give this book five stars. I can't wait until the next novel on Huntington St.John is published. Way to go Miss. Adair.

Summary: Good writing and great characters
Review: Good writing and great characters, what more could you ask for? This was the first book I read by Cherry Adair, but it won't be my last. Her writing style and character development reminds me a lot of Linda Howard (need I say more). In a nutshell the book is about a super-spy guy (with a bruised and battered heart), meeting his soul mate in the form of a feisty petite blond. Add an affectionate Grate Dane and some extremely nasty "baddies", and you get one memorable book.

Summary: WOW - It's Great!
Review: Meet Marnie Wright, an attractive blond computer programmer with artistic talent, spending a few days at her late grammy's cabin in the Sierras - trying to find herself. Meet Jake Dolan, a black-ops operative on forced vacation from T-FLAC, his spy organization, hiding out at his mountain cabin not far away. Meet 13 men out to kill him - are they from his own T-FLAC out to eliminate him, or from the group headed by his enemy, the elusive terrorist Dancer? Meet Duchess, the loveable fawn-coloured Great Dane pup. Bullets fly and the sex sizzles in this action packed weekend. A very enjoyable exciting contemporary romance that keeps you turning the pages til you finish. Just great!
