Rating: Summary: This book was as good as the first one! Review: Johanna Lindsey does it again. In the first book "Warrior's Woman" she captured the mix between science-fiction and romance, and she repeats her sucess in this one. She does a very good job of showing a young lady's confused feelings between mixed cultures and adds a guy who has some of both, in his own way. This book was truly riveting, as well as showing us all how to blend worlds together.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book!!!! Review: I am a huge fan of Johanna Lindsey, and I really loved this book. I wish I lived in a world filled with tall, beautiful, warrior men.
Rating: Summary: A book to remember Review: This was the first book of Ms. Lindsey I read and from then I have been trying to get my hands on all her other books. This is the first romance novel I've read, that is about another world so, when I started to read it I was going to put it down but, it was so captivating that I did not put it down until I was finished. It was funny, exciting, and everything you want in a romance novel. When I was finished I still wanted more.
Rating: Summary: No her best but no bad either. Review: I own every book Johanna Lindsey has written, and truth this is the only one I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on. It isn't that it was a bad book but I don't approve of any abuse. Some people don't think that hitting a person in the butt is bad. No matter what it is hitting and it is meant to hurt and humiliate a person. I don't see it as romantic or erotic about this form of abuse. I hope nobody tries to justify the abuse that he did to her. Just thought I should warn people about the down part of this book.
Rating: Summary: THE BOOK WAS THE BOMB!!!!!!! Review: I read this book a million times. It might be one of MRS. Lindsey's greatest books! If you read it and did not like it I Suggest you read it again!
Rating: Summary: I want to move to this world! Review: This is my all-time favorite romance book. Johanna Lindsey creates an imaginary world that is NOT politically correct. Although the women are intelligent, well-educated, and extraordinarily independent, they live in a physically primitive world ruled by the sword. The sword-weilders are handsome, giant warriors who defend their women with their own lives. Fallon risks his life fighting for Shanelle's hand in marriage. She shows her gratitude by jumping into a spaceship to tour the universe, leaving him standing at the altar with her parents! Of course, he has to go after her to convince her that they are truly soul-mates. There are parallel romantic stories about Shanelle's parents and even the 'android' computers that guide the chase through the universe. Far from being intimidated by the warriors they love, these women outsmart their men at every turn. What fun!! Ms. Lindsey, please take us back there again...
Rating: Summary: Different and very funny! Review: I read this book, expecting another historic romance for which Johanna is famous for, but this one wasn't historic. In this one, like in Warrior's Woman, Johanna takes us to a different world, one full of fantastic wonders and sometimes familiar scenes. I read it over and over again, because I find it's like daydreaming about what can be. I love this book, although it's not my favorite one that Johanna has written, it is still a great novel. I reccommend it highly!
Rating: Summary: Keeper of the Heart won't dissapoint Review: I was very hesitant at first to read this book. I really only enjoy the historical novels. In fact the first three times I went to read it I put it down. I'm so glad that I kept picking it up again. By far one of the best Lindsey books I have read. The story has all of Johanna's best features. The strong attraction and the fight against falling in love. Can I possibly fall into this story. It sounds great to me. As always you know that the love between the characters is true and they will always be so happy together.
Rating: Summary: outstanding! Review: This is a great story...Fallon is awesome!! Martha is hilarious, and the heroine is adorable. I do not understand the big hubub about the wife beating--someone got a spanking, but nobody got beaten. Getting a spanking and getting BEATEN are two completely different things as many unfortunate souls could tell you. Besides, it is a book, read for entertainment value. And what a great book it is! Check it out!
Rating: Summary: I hated this book Review: This book is Lindsey's worst sequel. It didn't have a plot and it condoned wife-beating. This book is a waste of the paper it's printed on.
