Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Futuristic
Review: At this late date, there isn't much I can add that hasn't already been written in past reviews. Basically, when I was browsing under Lindsey's name to see when her next holiday 2000 book was scheduled for release, I was surprised to see that "Keeper of the Heart" had scored less than a perfect 5, so I wanted to throw my two-cents in :)

"Keeper of the Heart", the sequel to "Warrior's Woman" (another 5+ star book) is the first futuristic romance I ever read. I put off reading these two books until I had depleted my stock of Lindseys, but they turned out to be 2 of my favorites of any author ever written, period. I have reread both of them (a rarity for me) at least 3 times a piece (an EXTREME rarity for me!)

If you're a fan of medieval historical romance that has never delved into the futuristic genre, this is an excellent place to start. (Then try Dara Joy's Matrix of Destiny series!) Lindsey's futuristic worlds are penned much like old medieval worlds--betrothed marriages, lord & vassal type of hierarchy (though the system works somewhat differently), and huge, barbaric heroes (in this case 7-feet tall!) I fell in lust at first sight with Lindsey's futuristic heroes!

Start out with "Warrior's Woman" (the story of the mother and father), then read "Keeper of the Heart" (their daughter's story). I've heard through the romance reviewer's grapevine that Daldon (the son) is the next one Lindsey plans to give a story to. Hmmm...can't wait for that one!

Summary: Double blech!
Review: This sequel to "Warrior's Woman" is even worse than the first one. Johanna Lindsey is a marvelous historical romance writer but horrible at setting her romances in the future. I truly don't know what prompted this book (and its predecessor) and hope it's the last in this genre.

Summary: It was good
Review: This book was a really good read. I always judge a book by its cover and I would never have chose this book, except that a friend lent it to me. I found it to be sexy and very appealing.

The actions scenes, however, did not have much action. And when Shanelle ran away, I was hoping for a little more action and an intense scene or two. Shanelle's fighting and flying abilities were shoved to the side more often than not. Her character needed more emphasis.

If you want credibility in your books, look elsewhere. BUT! if you look past the credibility and just want a good, curl-up-and-forget-normal-life-type book, them pick this one up and don't let it go! It is ultra sexy and made me PURR like a kitten!

Summary: Keeper of the Heart
Review: If you've read Warrior's Woman, you love Keeper of the Heart. I loved this book. Shanelle Ly-San-Ter and Falon Banyer make a great fictiona couple. I can't wait for follow-up book on Shanelle's brother.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Memorable
Review: I really got into this book. I think it is a great follow-up to "Warrior's Woman". I really connected with Shanelle in her frustrations and dreams. And I really liked Falon. He was a warrior through-and-through, but he was also willing to show his weaknesses and needs. I think the chemistry between the two characters was very evident, and recommend this book to anyone who likes romance with a dash of sci-fi.

I hope there will be another book in the series, on Shanelle's brother, Dalden.

Summary: Another keeper!
Review: This book is FABULOUS! Like some of the other readers, I didn't exactly LOVE the spanking scene, but you have to admit it was kind of erotic. But other Lindsey novels have spanking in them too (Captive Bride, Defy Not the Heart, Man of My Dreams, etc.). Anyway, this is a must-read.

Summary: When is the next one?
Review: I have read this book twice and would recomend it to anyone who likes futuristic romances. The first book was Warrior Woman which was really good this is a follow on and is very good. But it leaves you a bit up in the air waiting for the next book. That is how I would descibe it. I am wondering if there is follow on. Did anyone else feel like that. I would like to know what happens to the brother or some of the other characters. I would like the author to write a few more books along this line, as she does it so well.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Keeper of MY Heart!
Review: This was probably one of the best books I've ever read! I absolutley loved the characters and the "different" story line! Falon is BIG and wonderful and Shanell is wild yet feminine! I plan on reading Warrior's Women now and look forward to any sequels. I've read so many complaints about the "spanking" scenes and I thought they were funny and almost erotic! Then the way he comforts her after is such a dream! Falon can punish me anytime! as long as I get the same compforting afterwards! I would love to read more! I didn't want this book to end!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not as good as the first one...
Review: This book wansn't that bad, but when you compare it to the first one (written about the heroine's parents) it is a disappointment. What happened? The hero is kind, but I didn't like the heroine at all. She had absolutely no redeeming qualities; in fact she refused to be sorry for any of the problems she caused for other characters. I look forward to another sequel in the story, but I hope Lindsey takes a little more time with it than she did with this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: lindsey at her best
Review: This second book of her futuristic series is well worth the read. I hope she adds a third soon!
