Rating: Summary: Humorous and a delight to read Review: This is just about my favorite JL book. The characters of Kimberly and Lachlan have great chemistry. I truly did believe, in the end, that they were made for each other. It's very romantic and Lachlan is definetly one of those fish that most women would find a lot of difficulty in tossing back into the sea. But that didn't stop Kimberly from trying. Kimberly has a lot of spunk and Lachlan is just too wicked by half. I can say that he has become my paragon of male masculinity. I was sorry that the book ended. I would have liked to see the two of them continue to fight it out (albeit in the most charming fashion) a little more. Regretfully, the minor characters in this book were too much of a distraction. I would have liked to see Kimberly and Lachlan cross swords a little more before they settled down and I would have enjoyed seeing Kimberly a bit less corporative just to make things more difficult for Lachlan. It's just a great book! Read it!!!! :-)
Rating: Summary: A really wonderful romance, with a little bit of everything. Review: This is my all-time favorite Lindsey book. Like I said it has a little bit of everything in it. Passion, humor, and the green eyed monster himself. When I read Man of My Dreams, I wondered what happened to Lachlan and in Love Me Forever I wasn't dissapointed. The only thing I didn't like about this book was that her "father" was still vastly annoying, however such imperfections do make a good story great because the plot is much better. I hope you enjoy this book too. I would also like to reaccomend: Prisoner of My Desire, and Say You Love Me.
Rating: Summary: Love Me Forever Review: This is ROMANCE. Ms Lindsey wrote soem other books that i'm not fond of BUT this one was a true exception. I think mainly because of the characters, the lovable and teasing Scot, a real life man not those fictional heroes who like to go around and control their heroines and who think they know what is best for them. The hero in this book was amazing as well as the heroine. And the chemistry between the couple was awesome. That is what I always seek in a romance -- chemistry between the couple -- which many romance books fail in. WONDERFUL !!
Rating: Summary: Everyone DOES NOT love a Lindsey Review: This is the second book of Lindsey's I have read. As usual with her books, the plot summary on the cover sounds very interesting--but the characters aren't very complex and complications are solved very quickly and neatly. This one is better than most--the characters at least have a bit of humor about them, and the sex scenes aren't badly written--but the secondary characters, espcially, are VERY weak; annoying cardboard cutouts who are ovbiously there to further some plot contrivance. Very lightweight stuff.
Rating: Summary: Read "Man Of My Dreams" first Review: This is the sequel to Man of My Dreams. I read that one first, good thing, because I hate to read books out of order. I enjoyed reading more about Devlin and Megan. This one is about Lachlan and Kimberly. Laughlan fell in love with Megan when he met her in Man of My Dreams, but ultimately Kimberly won his heart in this one. The picture on the paperback book cover should have had a better looking couple, I think. I had to make a mental note to picture them as I would like them to look, it's difficult.
Rating: Summary: The basis for the MacGregor Clan... Review: This is the story that is the basis for all of the MacGregor stories. This is the story where Lachlan and Kimberly (Kimber) meet and fall in love. Kimberly is trying to escape the household of her father, who is a mean prejudiced man, by marriage. She has put off looking for a husband for the year of morning after her mother has died. She is thrust upon someone that owes her father a favor to be "shown about". At the same time a poor laird of a Scottish clan is seeking a wife with "plump pockets" to help the clan out of financial trouble. This sounds like the perfect match right? Well it takes a while first off Lachlan is still pining over a woman he one stole while revving, and it turns out to be the wife of his host. Kimberly finds herself attracted to the MacGregor but doesn't want to marry someone who loves another... JL spends a good amount of time in the background and physical descriptions of the main characters so you can see them in your mind. Also, the narrator does a wonderful job with the different voices and accents. If you like romances you will like this story!

Rating: Summary: Peanut butter and jelly Review: This novel is hilarious and romantic. It starts out with a situation that draws a group of people together by fate. That situation keeps you interested as you read the cruel and funny remarks the charcters retort at each other. The couple of this novel, Kimberly and Luchlan, suit each other like peanut butter and jelly... even if the might not know it at first.
Rating: Summary: 6-star rating! Review: This was such a fun story, and the audio version was extremely well read by Michael Page, including the thick Scottish brogue that dominates Lachlan MacGregor's scenes. A real romp in the hay!
Rating: Summary: Total Nonsense, sub-par effort by a good romance writer Review: While reading this book, i really was wondering, what kind of a joke the author pulls on her readers. Even though the novel seems to fall into the historic romance category, it is totally anachronistic, with totally unbelievable relationships within and among the english/scottish societal classes. Nevertheless, it carries the reader with itself, as most of JL work does. The authors slopinness would have been okay, if she'd created a fresh and intricate plot, however the story is very predictable too. All in all, when reading this, you might find not a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure of a duped.
