Rating: Summary: im in love Review: This book is written for any women! Its one of the best books I have read in a really long time. Im afraid to read anything else by Tami Hoag in fear that it will not live up to Lucky's Lady.
Rating: Summary: Romance Review: This book was given to me. I am not a fan of romance novels but I gave it try. It was an easy read. The plot was not all that believable, but that is usually what happens in this genre. Given the fact that even though I am not a fan of this genre I did finish the book I recommend this one. It was entertaining and not so hokey that I rolled my eyes with every turn of a page.

Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Review: This is one of my all time favorite books. It was magnificently written with intelligent witty characters who are easy to fall in love with. By the end of the book you are rooting for Serena. I hope that one day in the near future Tami Hoag will right a follow up to this book because the short reference to Serena and Lucky that was made in her book Cry Wolf just wasn't enough. If you are looking for another book by Tami just as good as this one you should check out her Dark Paradise.
Rating: Summary: Like watching a soap opera... Review: This is the second Tami Hoag book I've read and most probably the last. To be fair, I am not a romance novel reader, so my review may be slanted. Lucky's Lady was recommended by a friend so I bought it. It was very difficult to get past the first few pages because of the really laughable lines, but I stuck with it to give the book a chance. Amazingly enough, I finished the book. Sadly, it was overly predictable, with a bit too much "lust" in it. Every time Lucky and Serena got together, I thought "oh please...not again...just get on with the story!" Had Tami Hoag left out some of the "manly essence" stuff and concentrated more on the story, it could have been a good book. Bottom line, I felt like I was watching a soap opera with really corny dialog. And the last two lines of the book actually made me LOL. I've given it two stars because I was able to finish it quickly, and overall, the silliness of it all made me laugh. So I guess there is value in that.
Rating: Summary: My first Tami Hoag book Review: This was my first Tami Hoag book and I loved it! I love the the setting of the bayou in southern Louisiana. It is truly a great story and I am definetly going to read another one of her books!
Rating: Summary: Oh WOW!!! Review: This was my first Tami Hoag book and I must say it was one of the best novels I have ever read. I loved the characters. Serena was tough but scared and she usually ran away from her problems. Lucky was such a tough guy on the outside, but so gentle and kind to Serena and so understanding of her situation. The chemistry between the two was written so well that the sparks actually jumped off the pages. WOW!! I will definitely read more books by Hoag!
Rating: Summary: WHAT A GREAT READ Review: THIS WAS MY FIRST TAMI HOAG BOOK. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH HER STYLE. I HOPE HER OTHERS ARE AS GOOD! SINCE I HAVE MY OWN LUCKY(REALLY IT'S MIKE) I WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE ONE. HAPPY HUNTING LADIES
Rating: Summary: A wonderful steamy read Review: This was the first hardcover book of Tami Hoag's I read and it has made me a lifelong fan. The imagery is startlingly real - you feel as though you could look out a window and see the bayou right outside. And as for Lucky - where can I get one just like him? I have read several other of Tami's novels and I am now a dedicated fan. This book is well worth reading.
Rating: Summary: Original Story, believable characters Review: This was the first story I ever read by Tami Hoag and it won't be my last. In this book she renders her characters in a colorful picture of the swamps in Louisiana. The emotional turmoil she puts the protagonists in are very gripping. The storyline is original and believable and doesn't lack the tension (sexual and otherwise) to make you turn the pages. There were a couple of lose ends that were not tied up satisfactorily though. For example, Serina never found out the details of Shelby's relationship with Lucky and what it was that brought Lucky's soul into such an unstable state. I would also have expected "Lucky's mission" in the swamp to be much less mundane after the secretive hints on several occasions. Still, the book is otherwise well rounded and a truly enjoyable read.
