Summary: A commendable book for first time lovers!
Review: This book helps you realize the effect of two people who were not in the same world. The happiness they share, the laughter, the sorrow, even the struggle to get through life on just the necessities of life rather than the riches. As these two people, Oliver Barret III, who happens to be a Harvard student, and Jennifer Cavilleri, who is a Radcliffe student, go through life with little to get by with. Jennifer and Oliver go through many arguments and find themselves falling into a pitt of dispair. But the most intelligent thing said in this book was that "Love means never having to say you're sorry." This book is good for anyone who thinks that love can be conquered by hate, but in reality love that is true lasts an eternity.

Summary: No Words To Describe.....
Review: I do not know how many times I read this book. The ending is excellent. Every conversation between Jenny and Oliver is a master-piece. If you haven't read it...GO GET IT.

Summary: love, the ultimate feeling that leads to total disharmony
Review: Oliver ruins his life, because he loses the power of his feelings. He gives up his ideal carreer for a woman from the lower-class. Why? Because he likes the idea, that there will always be someone who is on his side, who stands to him, who honors him. This weakness destroys his life. But thank God that there is such a man like Erich Segal who warns the humans not ever to fall in love!

Summary: Love Story
Review: The book that I read was Love Story by Erich Segal. I enjoyed this book very much because there was so much detail that I was able to see the story in myy head like a movie. The amount of detail makes one want to just keep reading more and more until the book concludes. I weould definatly recommend this book to anyone and therefore I really cannot find anything bad to say about this book since I enjoyed it so much. This book made me think about how awful it must be to be in love with someone and then they die. If that ever happened to me, it would definatly hit me very hard. Given enough time, most people can get over these types of things. Getting help from friends and family gives you enough support to get you through troubled times. The book did not really remind me of anything because nothing quite like it has happenened to me. Love Sotry contained many universal themes such as love, friendship, ambition, and lonliness. Love was the main theme because this whole book was based upon love and its many aspects. Friendship is evident where Oliver interacts with his friends and fellow hockey players. Playing hockey also portrays ambition because Oliver wanted to win that last game in New York so badly as did everyone else. There is lonliness included in the book when Jenny dies and Phil and Oliver feel lonely because Jenny was the girl in both of their lives. Reading this book has made me want to read more by Erich Segal because in my opinion he is a very good author.

Summary: Q: How Can You Make a Girl Cry?
Review: A: Give her this book. See, she won't be able to put it down. She'll lie in bed for hours reading it (it's not very long) and she'll cry. Oh, will she cry. And if you tell her you loved it, she will love you.

This is a wonderful, wonderful book! Everything about it is above-average (not great), but for some reason it really hits a nerve. Everyone wants to live their own Love Story... it's the ideal relationship. It's an inspiring, motivational read that will have even the coldest person weeping into their pillow at three o' clock in the morning.

Summary: For better..for worse
Review: I am deeply touched by Oliver's love for his wife and vise versa. Their love story proves that true love can shine through not just the best, but more importantly, the worst of times.
