Summary: It's good.
Review: I enjoy E.J.D.'s writing a lot. This story about a young black man and woman that meet, date, and fall in love, but soon learn that neither was completely honest with the other. The trials and tribulations they put each other through mirror many relationships that are out there. It's a terrific read.

Summary: HOT,JUICY, pageturner that deserves a part-2
Review: EJD has rocked my world again!!! Though this book wasn't as juicy as Cheaters. I still enjoyed the novel and it was worth my time. We even had a great book club discussion on it. The book uncovers some dirty little secrets from the past and how they can comeback to haunt you, when you least expect it. Dana and Vince can atest to that and they seem right for one another, from the moment they meet. But, they're love is tested and must be strong enough to survive the roadblocks such as, an ex-wife and ex-lover. Dana helps Vincent battle with being an absent father and he proves to be the big man she needs to get her through her on nightmarish past. Together they learn how to love and what it means to truly be in love. They come to understand that honesty and love hold the key to their future. It was great that they had friends such as Gerri and Womack to add a little spice to the pot. Gerri was too much and had me in stitches most of the time. This was a refreshing book, that mirrors so many lives. Eric must have been a fly on the wall somewhere. Keep up the good word Eric and I(Toy) look to talking with you again, next time you're in Houston at the Shrine.

Summary: Good book for Drama.
Review: I like the book really enjoyed it. But it's not one of his best pieces. Alot of Drama which I do love. Like I said before a good piece to read but not one of the best books written.

Summary: Liar's Game
Review: This is a story about relationships.

Vince and Dana got together pretty much on a rebound. Both brought baggage to the relationship. Dana not quite finished with Claudio. Vince struggling with the control his ex-wife has over his relationship with his daughter.

Womack not trusting his wife. Juanita and Naiomi's games. And of course Gerri's drama.

The biggest liar's in this novel was Jefferson, Malaika and Claudio.

Dickey did a wonderful job with the relationships and has a way of putting his words on paper to bring you into the story and make you feel for the characters.

Review: THIS BOOK WAS NOT ALL THAT ,I AM SURPRISED AT ERIC JEROME DICKEY.THIS IS NOT LIKE HIS WORK AT ALL .NONE THE LEAST I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.MOST OF THESE CHAPTERS DRAGGED ,AND HAD A VERY BAD ENDING.I HOPE HIS NEXT BOOK IS NOT THIS BAD

Summary: Not his best work....
Review: I am an avid reader of Eric Jerome Dickey's books and this is not his best work. When I first heard about this book I bought it on the release date and expected it to be a book full of serious drama based upon the title. Was I ever so "wrong". This book didn't live up to it's title at all. The lies that were told were very petty which lacked drama like someone getting caught cheating and having to deal with the reprecussions. I was not a good read at all, quite dull. The only good part in the book was the end.

Summary: Another Masterpiece
Review: I purchased this book about a week before my two day trip on the greyhound, but I read one chapter and couldn't stop. So I read it twice. I enjoyed it very much, as well as every book Mr. Dickey has written. I'm only twenty years of age and I read his books to know what to look for, and expect while I go through the trails and tribulations of dating and relationships. It's a must read, many turning points, and ohhs and ahhs!!!!!!!!!

Summary: It was just alright...
Review: Let me start by saying EJD is my favorite author. I enjoyed his previous books. When ever he releases a new book I rushed to the book store to purchase his work. This book was ok but wasn't his best. I guess I expected a little more excitement. He will continue to be my favorite writter.

Summary: Keep 'em comin' EJD!!!
Review: Sighhhhh!!! Can this man make a sentence sing or what? If he plays his woman like he does with words...WHEW! LOL. Anyway, I thought this was a really good book. It was a bit slow at first, but then, it really hooked me. I stayed up until 2:00 in the morning to finish it. The main characters, Dana and Vince, were both almost irrepairably damaged. They both had skeletons in closets already filled to busting! When Vince finally pulled his out, it looked like it was the death durge for their relationship. However, I think Dana had a lot of nerve getting on the high and mighty when she had a pretty big one herself. The gay neighbors were an interesting twist. I also liked that this book was written in just the two main character's voices, instead of everybody's. That can get a little confusing sometimes. However, EJD always draws you so completely into a story, you wonder what's happening even when you're not reading it and have to remind yourself that they are characters in a book, not actual people. But he fleshes them out so completely, you just know you know somebody like that. As I've always said, keep up the excellent work, EJD, and I will always buy whatever you put out!

Summary: Interesting Story
Review: This energetic novel about four people held my attention from beginning to end. There was a great deal of passion and love that was not always properly expressed, hence unnecessary pain and heartache. And the action between Vince and Dana was something to read and imagine. I don't think that the title, Liar's Game, best describes the story, but this is a novel worth reading.
