Summary: Finally, a hero whose intelligence matches his looks
Review: For my money, there are just not enough brainy heroes in romance novels. Plenty of brawn, most of them, but generally light in those IQ points. Tyberius Augustus Evans, the hero of HIGH ENERGY, is that rare hero, a scientist. But, because of Dara Joy's light touch, a sexy scientist with a sense of humor. Talk about an irresistible combination! So why didn't I give this book five stars? Because I couldn't understand heroine Zanita's lingering reluctance to commit to a relationship with such a great guy. If you're at all familiar with Joy's work, you soon discover this is something of a trend in her novels. Me? Wild horses wouldn't have been able to drag me away from Tyber!

Summary: Much better than I expected
Review: I admit that I was pleasantly entertained. It was much better than I thought. I guess that's one of the reason I enjoyed it so thoroughly. There is a scene that I laughed so hard that I must looked very silly. Just look out for the dinner scene with the heroine's best friend and aunt. Very funny! Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.

Review: BOY...DID I GET THE "WOMAN FROM MARS" LOOKS IN MY HOUSE WHILE READING THIS DELICIOUS PIECE. I AM USUALLY A HICTORICAL NUT BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A TERRIFIC READ WITH LIVELY AND SENUOUS CHARACTERS ( I'D LOVE A SEQUEL ABOUT GREGOR AND MILLS, BY THE WAY). I HAVE READ JOY'S OTHER BOOKS AND WAS ALREADY QUITE A FAN BUT SHE REALLY OUTDID HERSELF WITH THIS WITTTY AND FAST PACED STORY THAT IS NOT TO BE MISSED. I HAD AN ADDED BONUS IN THAT THE USED BOOK I BOUGHT HAD A KRANTZ BOOK CALLED WHIRLWIND COURTSHIP THAT WAS ALSO EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING.

Review: Tyber and Zanita are a terrific couple. I stayed up all night to finish this one. The interaction between these two really sizzled. IMO Tyber is the ultimate hero!!! Tall, gorgeous, with a sense of humor and SMART. Zanita is the perfect foil for him, always keeping him slightly off-balance. All of the characters were outrageously fun and different and had me laughing out loud. Blooey, Tyber's pirate cook, is a hoot. I just loved his house-where in the world is this man??? Incredibly sexy! Mmm mmm mmm.

Review: This is the first book that I have read by Dara Joy and you can be sure that I will read more. The vivid details and fully thought out scenarios were very satisfying and exquisitely framed. The humor was realistic, making me look around for others who were staring for my crazy laughter. I enjoy contemporary romance and "High Energy" is what it is all about. An excellent read for the thirsty at heart and the realist at hand...

Summary: DARA JOY'S NOVEL HIGH ENERY WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT.
Review: THE FIRST COUPLE OF CHAPTERS STARTED OUT PRETTY GOOD BUT THERE WAS TOO MANY SEX SCENES IN THIS NOVEL. IT WAS ALL THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS (ZANITA & AUGUSTUS) DID IN THIS NOVEL. THERE WERE OTHER CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THIS BOOK ALSO THAT COULD HAVE DEVELOPED MORE TO MAKE THIS NOVEL MORE INTERESTING. THE STORYLINE BASICALLY JUST DRAGGED ALONG....THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS NOVEL BECAUSE THERE WAS NO STORY THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT WORTHWHILE TO READ.

Review: This is the first of Dara Joy's books which I have read, but it is guaranteed not to be the last. I enjoyed her characters and her settings were wonderfully imaginative. My one true complaint--I want Tyber! I would also like to see Ms. Joy continue the story of Mills and Gregg!

Review: This was the first book by Dara Joy that I have read. It was wonderful! It had one of the most incredible couples that I've ever read about. Tyber (my favorite) and Zanita are funny, intelligent, intriguing, and sexy as hell. I couldn't get enough of their HOT and SIZZLING romance. This book is a must read!

Review: When I first read the write-up for this book, I wasn't really too interested. In fact I was pretty desperate to read anything when I finally picked it up. Don't be fooled.

IT IS 100X BETTER THAN THE WRITE-UP. In the tradition of Knight of a Trillion Stars, Ms. Joy has woven a wonderfully romantic, sexy tale of love and seduction. I've read it 6x. And I can't wait for the next book in this series which I hope covers anything with Zani and Tyber plus Mills and Gregg!
