Review: I READ THIS BOOK AT LEAST A MONTH AGO. YOU SHOULD PURCHASE KAYLA PERRIN'S BOOK ONLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A ROMANCE NOVEL. I RATED THIS BOOK WITH THREE STARS ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT VERY EXCITING AND ALSO DUE TO THE ERRORS. THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A VERY INTELLIGENT AND HUMBLE YOUNG WOMAN. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE SEEKING A BOOK TO KEEP YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE AND MORE, THEN CHECK OUT "THE UPPER ROOM" BY MARY MONROE. SHE IS THE BEST FICTIONAL WRITER SINCE ALICE WALKER'S "COLOR PURPLE" WRITTEN IN 1985. ADDITIONALLY, KAYLA NEEDS A BETTER EDITORIAL TEAM, BECAUSE THE ERRORS ALMOST TOOK AWAY MY INTEREST FROM "IF YOU WANT ME".

Review: I truly loved this book. It was a excellent, entertaining read! Desiree/Alice was just an adorable character, you felt for her and fell for her at the same time. Unfortunately or fortunately, however you wanna look at it, I could relate to this book totally! This is the first Kayla Perrin book I have read, but I would read another one of hers. Job weill done!

Review: If You Want me was a bookclub selection for this month. It is going to be very interesting getting the viewpoint on this story.

I was not convinced who Marcus loved . Did he love Alice or Desiree. Did he love ( Alice )The girl he knew years ago like he said ? Maybe he love Desiree The woman she's become. It was quite obvious how Alice felt about Marcus after all those years . I guess in this case it's true, love never dies it just fades way only to be rekindled . I was right about two predictions in the story . One why her mother disliked her aunt. The other, who was really after Desiree and wanted to destroy her .It is going to be interesting to hear what other members of the bclub has to say about If You Want Me.

Summary: Fairytale with the happy ending
Review: Kayla Perrin's latest book is the 2001 version of the ugly duckling turn to swan. Growing up Alice was teased and frowned upon by not only her schoolmates but also some of her family members. No one understood and accepted her but her father and best friend Marcus.

After the death of her father she looked to Marcus for advise and guidance. Marcus held a special place in her heart. Alice leaves in search of her dream when Marcus informs her he plans to marry. She is crushed to realize that Marcus doesn't feel the same love for her that she has for him.

Now years later the swan returns because of her moms illness and runs into the now divorced Marcus. Now they are attracted to each other and wonder if they can forget about the past and move forward to a passion filled future.

I recommend this book to all die hard romance novel readers or someone who wants to read a true love story with a little drama thrown in.

Summary: Remembering how it feels to not fit in.....
Review: Kayla Perrin's novel "If you want me" reminds all readers of how it feels to not fit in. It brought me back to the days of elementary school and high school. It also reminds you of how much we all need the approval of a parent. It made me look at how my daughter views me. This book elicit's feelings you may or may not want to revisit.

Kayla captures your attention from page 1. She makes you feel what the characters are feeling. A good book usually makes you choose sides and "If you want me" is no exception. You begin to dislike characters in the book depending on who's side they are on.

As I turned each page I became more a part of the character's lives. Kayla includes suspence with Romance. Gone are the days of the romance novel with no story line...Kayla surely proves that with "If you want me".

This book leaves you longing for more...More Alice...More Marcus
