Rating: Summary: Can't wait for Rita Herron's next book! Review: Having heard great buzz about this book, I thought I'd sneak aread between innings during a pre season Braves game. Who knows whowon that game? I got caught up in this poignant story about a heroine who possesses the inner strength to commit herself to the family she deeply wants to remember, a tender hero who learns to seek joy in the future even as he mourns the past he can no longer share with the woman he loves. I wouldn't have believed Ms. Herron could top her previous title, Her Eyewitness, but Forgotten Lullaby made me forget my plans for the evening--and I had a great time! END

Rating: Summary: realistic emotions Review: I enjoyed this book very much, as I have enjoyed every book by Rita Herron that I've read. Her heroine is REAL--she experiences the full range of emotions that all women feel--sadness, happiness, fear, sorrow, etc. She's brave, but she's also afraid at times--and I don't think that expressing fear makes someone wimpy. It makes them real and honest and someone I can relate to. I very much look forward to Ms. Herron's next book.

Rating: Summary: Displays the Cowardice of Romance Publishers Review: I got this book because of all the different reviews. It wasfine, but I do have a complaint. How old were these characterssupposed to be? I'm in my mid-twenties like I thought these people were supposed to be. Like too many "twentysomething" romantic leads, they acted older. The cultural references the author used dated them horribly. I didn't get out of college that long ago, and if my college boyfriend (or any guy that age) had taken me to an Elton John concert for our first date a few years ago, I would have thought he was gay. Same thing with the Celine Dion reference. Maybe he was supposed to be nice, bringing up things she liked. I don't buy it. All of these characters acted like my parents instead of people I know. The author should have aged them up at least ten years. Romance publishers need to have the courage to publish more books with characters in their late thirties and forties, even fifties. I'd still read them if the story sounded interesting enough. Enough with characters in their twenties who act twenty years older than that. It takes some credibility out of the story.

Rating: Summary: Romantic suspense at its best. Review: I have to admit, I bought this book out of curiosity. I heard the buzz about the "cyber stalker" who has been posting bad reviews for so many of the Intrigue authors' books, and I wanted to see if there was any basis for the dissing. Lo and behold, I was surprised to discover an author whose work I really enjoy! FORGOTTEN LULLABY was great. So thanks to the alleged Intrigue "fan" who's been anonymously slamming Harlequin Intrigues. You led me to many hours of reading enjoyment. And we can all be grateful that this "fan" is stalking authors only on-line. She obviously has an axe to grind somewhere.
Rating: Summary: Bring a hanky! Review: I loved this book! It made me cry, and I almost never do. This author has written a great book that I will recommend to all of my friends. But be warned -- it is an emotional read and will make you cry!Great book! I look forward to reading more.
Rating: Summary: Inspiration for FORGOTTEN LULLABY Review: I was sitting in a Bed & Breakfast reading an article about a woman who had an accident and lost her memory -- a true story. While I found the story sad (she couldn't remember her husband or child), it was incredibly romantic because the young woman fell in love with her husband all over again. With my love for mystery, of course, I had to add a little twist -- in my story the woman didn't have a simple accident, but someone tried to kill her. I hope you enjoy FORGOTTEN LULLABY as much as I enjoyed writing it. I'd love to hear from you!
Rating: Summary: Falling in love is twice as nice! Review: Imagine having the opportunity to fall in love twice with the same man? Would we make the same choices? Rita Herron introduces you to sympathetic characters who are trying to find their way back to the happiness they once had. I found it a thoroughly emotional and enjoyable read.
