Summary: The best book I have ever read!!!
Review: I'd like to start by saying that I was unsure about what the novel was going to be like before I started. I began to read it and got hooked!!! I could not, for the life of me, put it down. Not just every book does that. I think Mastadge was being very critical of the book, because I had no problem following how old Bram and Mo were. It was filled with humor, excitement, tender moments, and emotional triumphs. I recommend the book to anyone... really!!! It is the most wonderful book ever written.

Review: I couldn't put the book down, the best book I've ever read. How wonderful the love between Bram and Modoc, what perils and treacherous times they went through. How horrible to be separated but miraculous to be reunited thanks to Ralph Helfer. I would recommend this book to anyone, young or old, especially animal lovers. Amazing!

Summary: Great Read We passed it around the family to everyone
Review: Modoc was given as a Christmas present to my sister. It became everyones present because we all read it and loved it. We now have a very well worn edition that somebody borrowed and did not return so we are ordering a 2nd book for our permanent collection.We now have an expression around our house when reading a really good book we call it "Having a Modoc Moment" Another words completely enjoying a book. There is not anyone I have met that has read this book and not been touched by it

Review: You will become attached to Modoc as you read about his adventured filled life. This book was never boring and was the kind that you wish didn't have to end. The later parts of Modoc's life will bring tears to your eyes. If this is truly a true story, it is amazing. Read this book!

Summary: Great Summer Reading
Review: Picked this up in a bookstore because I overheard someone talking about it. A fabulous read, goes very quickly. Be sure to keep tissues handy. If it wasn't for the lack of documentation I would have given it 5 stars. There was no reference to dates so it was difficult to place the story. But this is a timeless story. The devotion between Bram and Modoc is so touching. Hope Disney gets a hold of this one, what a great movie it would make.

Summary: The Biggest Sweetheart Ever
Review: Modoc and Bram knowingly or not had a spiritutal pact - that they would love each other and be part of each other to their dying day. If you want your heart broken and mended and broken again only to be restored to pure joy then let yourself fall in love with Modoc. She will love with a heart bigger than her elephant body and you will feel Bram's devotion to her and know it can be no other way. Not that he must love Modoc but that he doesn't know how to not love her. What a beautiful place to be in. Enjoy this book with all your heart and you will cry with joy.
