Summary: Possibly the greatest ever next to Tolkien
Review: I have had this Book for a number of years, and have read it uncountable times. But, I always keep coming back for more. Mr. Perry has created a world full of characters that you love and villians you love to hate. He has sent me on numerous searches to used book stores to find the second book,(which I found).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Only the strong survive
Review: I have read and re-read both Morigu books, and would love to read as many more as Mr. Perry wants to write. In a genre riddled with underdogs, and heros who need 500+ pages to build up their confidence, the Morigu is a tale of characters who know what needs doing and get it done (or die trying).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best of fantasy!
Review: I have read many fantasy novels including Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, Jennifer Roberson, and many others, and I must say that Morigu: the Desecration is probably the best book I have ever read in my entire life. Unfortunately, I have not read Perry's second book. I don't know the title, whether it's Morigu: the Dead, or just The Dead. If anyone has ANY information on the title or how I can get a hold of it, PLEASE e-mail the information to me. I would be greatly indebted.

Summary: Where's the next book
Review: I have read many sci-fi and fantasy books and this series is still in my top 10 picks. I continually reread the first two books and continue to find something new each time. Mr. Perry, since you are still out there I implore you to finish the series as I, as well as others want to find out what happens and also greatly admire and love the way you bring the power of the gods and the determination of the mortals, both good and evil, together. Please continue the series as I personally think you are very talented and it would be waste(not to mention greatly upsetting)not to finish this great series!!!

Summary: Greatest fantasy books ever?
Review: I have read the 2 Morigu books over and over. I have read hundreds of fantasy books and these are my favorites. Not the stereotypical "good guy wins" type of books. In the first book my favorite character was dead before page 100. But he died in an amazingly written battle against all of hell. I have read the battle a dozen times at least. The books keep you guessing on who will live and who won't. Though this may sound somewhat sadistic, I enjoy that feeling of unsuredness. If you have not read these books I suggest that you call around to some used book stores and get them at all costs. Everyone I know who has read them thinks that they are some of the best ever. Please Mark Perry, finish the series and write other books. Your style is sorely needed in todays market of books.

Summary: Some of the best fantasy writing of our day...we need more!
Review: I have the first two books in this series and though they are nearly falling to pieces from being read over and over they deserve their place amongst my most treasured collections. What else can I say except these books have given me a taste of high fantasy that I still haven't been able to quench some 10 years later. Among the best of the best in fantasy period. Mr. Perry simply MUST continue the series or at least offer a fitting conclusion. To do less would be an injustice to the many fans of these books and to the characters and mythology Mr. Perry has brought to life.

Summary: The Greatest, most Little-known Fantasy novel EVER!!!
Review: I have the read the comments by other readers, and am thrilled to find that anyone else out there has read it as well. Obviously, there were not enough of us.

Please, please, please Mark !! Read these comments and get that third book out! I suppose you didn't realize how truly inspired we the readers believe your effort to be !

Summary: Morigu: Dead and the Desecration
Review: I picked up the Desecration way back in 1986 when it first came out by pure luck, and I have to say THANK GOD. The Morigu is beyond describtion; the story, the characters, everything was amazing. For years I waited for the next book until finally The Dead appeared on the shelves(the whole store heard me cheer), and if possible was even better. Today it is Feb 2001 and all my friends have read the series with much the same praise that I have, but with the same complaint. Please Mr. Leahy finish the series. It's too good to leave unfinished, no matter what the publishers say, The Morigu series are great books. Thanks

Summary: Where's the next book in this amazing series?
Review: I read both books in the Morigu series 13 years ago and am still waiting for the next installment.

Where else can you find Death battling the Lord of Undead? All heroes and villains have god-like powers and battle each other with amazing pyrotechnic. The prose won't win any award, but the action are without equal.

Twenty years of reading fantasy fiction fiction and the 2 books of this series are still my favorite.

To Questar: It's been 13 years. Pay Mark C Perry whatever he wants so he can finish the d*** series. There are fans waiting.

Summary: The new Tolkien
Review: I read The Desecration when I was a teenager. I am now 31 and this book has stayed in my mind for all these years. I've never read a book that has made that much of an impact on me. I am so glad to know that there is a 2nd one and I will be looking for the 3rd.
