Rating: Summary: This IS a very, very DuMB book!!! Review: This is the worst book ever!! Don't buy it, it's just another book about black prejudice; there are so many better ones out there about prejdice This is BOring! the plot is really dumb, because everything keeps changing scenes
Rating: Summary: This book is the best! Review: I had to read this book for a class and it's hard hitting. There is some really sad parts and it's been banned in several states because it puts a bad impression on whites. This book has many hidden maening so you should read it real carfully. If you like reading hard hitting racism, this book is for you!
Rating: Summary: I absolutly loved the book!!!! Review: It really gave me a look at life and how prejudice used to get out of hand. The part in the book that I didn't like is when R.W. and Melvin set T.J. up for robbery and murder. And it was all just for a stupid pearl-handed pistol!! I also thought that Cassie was very independant. And the Logan's thought things out.I really liked the part when Papa set the fence-post on fire.Well, I guess that's all I have to say.So,bye.
Rating: Summary: THE BOOK WAS GOOD Review: The book was boring at the begining. I thought Stacey was a girl. Once I read farther into the book it got real good. I wish it would have told about T.J. going on the chain gang and not Let The Circle Be Unbroken. I hope The Road To Mempis is just as good as this book.
Rating: Summary: I love this book,it's amazing!! Review: It really made me understand what the colored folks went through in the 1930's.I did'nt think it was really fair when the white people treated T.J. My favorite character was Cassie. She had a big mouth, but she stood up for what she believed in.I like that in a person.I also liked the accent the people had down in Mississippi. The saddest part I thought the people burning the Berry's.The best part was when Cassie beat up Lillian Jean.I really enjoyed the book!!!!
Rating: Summary: it was the best bok i ever read Review: this was a great book. it realy keeps you reading and you never want to stop.it almost felt like you were rely there.it was neat to be in a "pore" families shoes for a while and to no what it felt like to live in a world where mostly every body hated you and did'nt care for or respect you. it was a neat book
Rating: Summary: Roll of Thunder, Hear my opinion Review: To me this book was great! I really enjoyed reading how much the Logan family loved each other. This book really spoke to me about racism and how people can respect each other even if their races aren't the same. This book was read by my class and nobody in my class didn't like this book! Most thought that this book was great! The others thought that this book was the best! If you read this book you will have to agree that this is an excellent book!
Rating: Summary: I HATED THIS BOOK! Review: I hated roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. I thought it was dumb, repetitive and plotless. I DO NOT recommend this book. If you want to read something good, read Diary of Anne Frank.
Rating: Summary: Must Read this and the next 2 Review: I thought this book was slow at the beginning and kinda confusing. I first thought Stacey was a girl but I figured it out. The end in this book definetly makes you finish the story. IT GETS BETTER!!! I PROMISE!!!
Rating: Summary: THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK I EVER READ ON PREJUDICE Review: TThis is the best book I ever read in a long time. I still remember the discussion of the end of it from the 4th grade.
