Rating: Summary: I needed Summer Reads... From a 12 year old reader Review: I needed some good summer reads so I went to the book store searching for a romance book. This book was one of the best I've ever read! It ties in the classic Romeo and Juliet with modern day teen events. It was a great book and I reccommend it to every girl who just needs a great romance.

Rating: Summary: A great book : ) Review: I really wish I could give this book more then 5 stars. It was really that good. OMG I could not put the book down therefore it took me a whole day to finish it. The whole concept was intruging, being a fan of the Romeo and Juliet classic I must say this book definetly had a better headline and ending. I like the fact the it was black and hispanic and that they did not kill themselves at the end.It was altogether a well written book. Anyone who knows a good book by the back and the front will Love this book. SO GO pick and up and U will not and should not be diappointed....... ~keep it real~ YAZ
Rating: Summary: best i have read yet Review: I think that the book was really interesting and it really kept my attention at the end. The begining was really like an actual teenagers life in high school. The end you didn't know if Roniettie and Julio were going to be alright if they were going to be found or if htey were going to die. I would highly recomend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: the greatest book ever Review: I thought the book was very dramatic and I would recommend this book to any one. The book was about a girl who fell in love wih a boy over the internet and come to find out he went to his school. She was having dreams about drowning and she is scared drowning. She heard a voice at the end of her dream and come to find out it was the new boy that goes to her school and his name is Julio.
Rating: Summary: Could have been written better Review: I was so disapointed at the phony plot details in this book. For example, Romi's parents make good money and are educated, but they live in a really nice house with a spacious yard that happens to be in a rough, inner-city school district? And when Ben gets sucker-punched by Julio he gets up and says "It's okay. I can tell you've had a rough day." Or Julio, who for much of the book speaks like an average hispanic teen, says "Don't worry, the principal has dispersed the crowd." Come on. The book's basic premise was cool, but the bad writing blew it.
Rating: Summary: I love it Review: If you start on this book, you will not be able to put it down! The story about Shakespears young lovers is almost the same as this, the difference is the ending but who cares?! I really think you should buy this. The climax will have your eyes so wide that they'll break, the nice and releaving ending, and let's not forget the ties between this story and the old Shakespearian play. If you buy this book, it will become the most treasured book in your collection. You will figure out that not only the families are involved with their love for each other, but a gang known as the Devildogs are not approving of their relationship. This is not a book that you will regret buying. Take it from an expert.
Rating: Summary: Romiette and Julio Review: Its a heart felt story of two young lovers that are being threaten because of their interracial relationship. Similar to the famous love story William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, they struggle for their romance to never end. Julio comes into the story when he moves to boring old Cincinnati. Having escaped the Mexican gangs in Texas, he finds himself deeply in love with a African-American girl. They begin communicating through the internet, having no idea they attend the same school. Will these two lovers escape the threats of a local gang or are they not destined to be together. This clever story will keep you reading until the end. It's unlike any novel written and it carries a special twist. After reading this novel it will be one of your top favorites. Don't miss it!
