Summary: Casio Palm PC E100
Review: I love my Casio Palm Size PC. I think it's one of the best PDA's available today. I find it very useful and helpful. The screen is clear and easy to read.

Summary: Great PPC, fast, fun and very useful
Review: I must say I love the Casio E-100. I decided on purchasing it because of the multimedia features and speed. I wanted a PPC that would play MP3s in stereo plus all the regular features of CE. This one really comes through. The only drawback is the headphone volume is not loud enough. But with a Boostaroo (inline audio booster, $20), it will be just what i wanted. And the color screen is awsome!GREAT machine!

Summary: Manufacturer Reputation
Review: I purchased one of these some time ago. It worked for a month and quit. To make a long story short, after repeated returns of the unit, it still failed after a week or so, and casio would not replace, only repair. (Which they repeatedly failed to do).

Summary: E100 is 100% fun
Review: I recently purchased the E100 after owning the E15 and a PV200A. The E15 was a little hard to see and the PV200A, while very reliable, did not have handwritting recognition. I compred the E100 to the Palm, and for the money the features of the Casio are much better. I have had absolutely no problems and utilize it extensively for note taking and contact storing. I am currently on my 4th day of using the same battery. This is a great product with appealing upgrade capability. Recommend to anyone looking to buy full feature PDA.

Summary: casio e-100 palm size pc
Review: I started out with a Palm V and thought it was the best ever. Even the green screen didn't put me off I just loved it. It was the first time I could truly say I was organised. Later I bought the Palm 515 and this had colour and was good, but it had no sound so I bought an iPAQ which had sound but felt the loss of the Palm OS was tragic (now using the far less stable Windows CE) still I continued and enjoyed the sound and movie playing on my iPAQ. Then I bought the E-100 second hand (the price was good so I grabbed it), and found that I like it best of all, mostly because of the TFT screen with more colours than the iPAQ, the feel of it in the hand, and built in expansion taking compact flash cards which means unlimited memory. Compact flash is less expensive and more common than the MMC (compact flash 2)cards used by Palm. These expansion packs you have to buy as an extra with the iPAQ.
Programs are hard to get for the E-100 but when you get one that works it is good. The programs look good and feel good to use. The battery lasts all day in the E-100 even though it was already used before I bought it, but iPAQ only lasts a few hours and this unit was brand new. In my opinion the E-100 is a brilliant PDA and I would like to see later incarnations of this unit. I still have two iPAQs but really love my E-100. I hope this is of some help to you.

Summary: The Casio beats Palm Pilot in functionality - HANDS DOWN!
Review: I was in the market for a PDA, I was losing track of my calendar, contacts and todos. I did my homework and researched all of the products that are available today. The full color and "compactness" of the Casio E-100 is such a life-saver. I knew several people who had the 3COM Palm Pilot - but the green screen with gray type just wasn't friendly on my eyes. The CASIO E-100 gives you the ability to record by voice and drag the file it creates to your regular computer desktop. It synchs perfectly with Outlook 2000 (which I currently use). It also permits the user to choose which items to synch - just in case you do not want to select your entire inbox (especially if you are a mail hog.) It comes with 16MB of memory and is expandable to 32MB in a spare PDA slot. You have the choice of using an "online" keyboard, or you may write "freehand" using the stylus. The writing recognition is very easy to use. After using it for one day, I knew how to write instead of tapping on the "online" keyboard. I would be absolutely lost without my CASIO.

Summary: This can do everything
Review: I've been using the casio E100 for awhile now, and keep finding new things it is capable of. The screen is bright and crisp, and the sound is surprisingly pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone that wants something extra.

Summary: If you need the power, you can't beat this
Review: If it's just basic PDA functions you need, a Palm is probably a better choice. But for a power user looking for mobile Web access, real mobile email (using your own ISP), MP3, audio recorder, etc, you can't beat a Cassiopeia. Combined (using infrared) with my Nokia 8810, I find it a great handheld Internet solution. Plus you can play DOOM!

BTW, I'm synching it with Win98 and Outlook 2000 with no problems. I know the previous reviewer had trouble, but I'm guess that's due to his particular setup, rather than any limitation with the machine. Win Activesynch 3.0, it's been totally painless for me.
