Summary: Another ONE star
Review: I simply couldn't believe that this book was written by a New York Times bestselling Author. I kept turning the pages thinking it HAD to get better. The writing is poor, the pace agonizingly slow, and the story trite. This must have been published because the author's other books were great. (This is the only Nigholas Sparks novel I have read.)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Unpredictable and rivoting!
Review: This was a very interesting book that keeps you glued to find out what develops next. It is a romantic book with twists and turns that is written in Mr. Sparks' smooth style.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: No Bang
Review: This was not my favorite Spark's book. It was a good story, however, very predictalbe. There was no bang at the ending except for who the driver was that killed Missy. But one could figure this out easily. I did think the characters were well written, especially Miles. I would have liked to have seen a more exciting, heart moving ending, then what there was. I have loved all of his other novels and will continue to read his new ones as they come out - this novel was not a page turner like his others.

Summary: Sappy
Review: I really hate to do this, but it irks me that an over-rated author could get to be a best seller. This book is not as good as the worst Harlequin I have ever read! There is not one thing in this book that kept me turning the pages.

Summary: Not the best, but still good
Review: I got hooked on Sparks' books this past summer, and I think they are all great. While this one is not his best, it is still a very touching and interesting story.

Summary: Poorly Written Book
Review: It is a great story idea, but the writer made it predictable and trite. There were many long dialogues where nothing was actually said. I was horribly disappointed, and I live in the town the story was set. That in itself should have kept me interested...or maybe not?

Summary: Beautifully written... beautifully played out
Review: I've read every one of Nicholas Sparks' books, and each one gets better and better. In a way they build on one another as if to reflect aspects of his own life.

Nicholas Sparks knows women... their feelings, their thoughts and their pain. He also knows the dynamics of relationships between men and women. His characters (in this case, Miles and Sarah) emulate the feelings we've all had in similar situations. I could also write this same review about "The Rescue."

Summary: Not one of his best
Review: This book was okay. I wouldn't say I forced myself to finish it, but just about. [...] I will say, the book really gets rolling about 1/2 way through and the last few chapters, naturally, are the best. It is an okay read. You must read A Walk to Remember....grab your hankie!

Summary: A Bend in the Road
Review: Nicholas Sparks is the all-time best author and this was definitetly one of his best. It had a heart-wrenching love triangle with turns of mystery. You cant put it down-you have to know what happens!

Summary: Sparks has done it again!
Review: A masterpiece if ever I've read one. Sparks has an ability to get deeper inside me than any other author has been able to do and I read A LOT. He writes with his heart which then in turn is where I read it from. It's fabulous. All Sparks' books are truly amazing. The way Sparks puts words on paper is almost as though you are living the scene with the characters. I almost jump into his books. It is as though I am there. I definitely will keep buying NICHOLAS SPARKS novels.
