Summary: Delightful! A great Muppet film, perfect for the holidays.
Review: This is a fantastic return to the Muppet world, with all of your favorite crazy characters returning for a really funny version of "It's a Wonderful Life". Joan Cusack is great as the evil Rachel Bitterman. And of course, there is more Pepe in here than you could hope for. The Muppets are back! I also heard the director went literally went crazy directing this, and spent a few weeks at a mental institution!

Summary: Stupidest movie ever
Review: I think the Muppets are stupid, and this movie is really stupid. Finding Nemo is so much better than this stupid movie. I think my mom liked this better than I did, although she did fall asleep in one part of it. The only part I almost liked was when Piggy got into a fight with the woman villian. The rest was BORING. Veggie Tales is better than this! and I'm too old for even those! Don't buy this for your kids, they will hate it, maybe old people like muppets and little little kids not older kids.

Summary: A good movie despite the narrow minded.
Review: Hi,
I'm 15 and I really enjoyed this movie. I think it's a shame that some narrow minded people (racist)couldn't enjoy this movie because Ms. Goldberg was acting as God, key word here being ACTING, Some cultures believe God is a woman, Some cultures believe the bible in Revalations when it saids Jesus hair was like wool and feet looked as if burned in the fire. we know what color anything burned is. I am native american and do not approve of little old George burns smoking a cigar being God, but that does not stop me from enjoying his movies. The younger Henson is not his father, and evidently wants to keep up with more modern times. everything changes why shouldnt the muppets to some degree. as for some reviewers you dont speak for all christians just like I dont speak for all native americans.
Check the movie out for ones self.

Summary: A Very Merry Treat For All Ages!
Review: Perhaps the most delightful romp since the first three Muppet films, It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie is certain to become a holiday tradition for families everywhere. A big hit on NBC, this film has many great moments of both ironic humor and warmth. It follows Kermit through his efforts to save the Muppet Theater from the angry Rachel Bitterman. Along the way, he and his fuzzy pals engage in the usual Muppet antics and discover the importance of their frienship.

In the tradition of Muppet films, special treats come in the form of guest stars. This movie includes Whoopie Goldberg, William H. Macy, Carson Daly, Kelly Ripa, David Arquette and the scene-stealing Joan Cusack who has more than her share of delightful comic turns.

You won't be disappointed with this very merry DVD. Two flippers up!

Summary: I guess I'm a Liberal and Satan Worshipper
Review: Because I really liked this movie. Thre are many references only a true muppet fan would get from this movie.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: True delight to Liberals and Satan Worshippers
Review: If this had been entitled "The Muppets Satanic Christmas" would have been more proper. Whoopi Goldberg has no business pretending to be God. Then again, He will have her pay some day for it. Stick to those Christmas items that were done by Jim Henson. He didn't not seem to have the big love of Liberal Hollywood that is so evident with the current Muppet Management.

Summary: A great movie!
Review: I love the Muppets and every one of their movies. This ranks as one of their best. It is hilarious, current, and the best Muppet Christmas movie yet! Keep 'em coming!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very sad and disappointing.
Review: First, I want to say I LOVE the Muppets, and most everything else from Jim Henson. I'm sorry to say that this show was terrible. I felt it was not true to Kermit's character, and the TV-referential jokes and cameos were awful. Previous Muppet projects had much more tasteful writing. The show lacked most everything that made the Muppets great. This was more of a parody of a Muppet movie than an actual Muppet movie. I was surprised that Brian Henson allowed this, but then, the Muppets are used in TV commercials now(something Jim Henson vowed never to do with the Muppets, because he didn't want to exploit children).

Summary: The Muppets Take Christmas
Review: This television film brings the Muppets back to top form with their ironic wit and charming appeal. There is something for everyone in this film, and it won't disappoint the young or young at heart.

Special highlights include the incredibly funny Joan Cusack in an inspired comic turn, and the delightful Whoopie Goldberg in a heaven-sent role.

The film was a huge hit during its original television broadcast, and is sure to be a huge hit with your family. For a special holiday treat, make it a double feature night and watch this film along side the delightful Muppet Family Christmas.
