Review: I thought this book was a fantastic book.I thought it was Jerry Spinelli's best book ever.It was weird but,it was a real life type of book.I loved the way he mixed realistic with fantasy.The book was about a boy whos parents died in a trolley accident.He then lives with his Aunt and Uncle but runs away into a place called Two Mills where everyone is worried about racism and they split the town in half,blacks whites.Maniac really does'nt have a clue about whats going on.If I said anymore I would ruin it for people who did'nt read it.Jerry used great details and descriptive adjectives.This book was great.

Summary: The Wonderer
Review: This is my first Jerry Spinelli book but it will not be my last. The way he words the story makes you stop and wonder. It's about this orphan boy,12, and all he wants is a family and a home. This boy is smart but he does not understand racial prejudice like most of us. This is a very interesting fiction book even though it has realistic issues. It's weird yet touchy. There is a catch though. It's a little complicated and it may need to be read more than once for it to stick. BUT it's also a book of humor with a great theme and a good moral so BUY IT!!!

Review: Jerry Spinelli's book "Maniac Magee" was ok. I liked the storyline, like how he runs away and he meets people. I didn't like how he used big words because some people like me can't pronounce them. Also the words that are long and complicated we don't know what they mean. I would not like to be the one that has to type it because of all the adjectives. When you hear of a book that has 46 chapters, you think its a lot but because the chapters are so small, its really only 10. Although there are bad parts to this book, I would recommed it for the emotion it has.

Review: This is my first time reading a book by Jerry Spinelli. I thought the book was preety good book that why i gave it 2 stars. There were some things that i liked i liked when John Mcnab and Jeffery were playing baseball.I also liked when Jerry Spinelli wrote some intersting words in the middle of each chapter. I thought the chaptersw were to short they were about 2 pages long instead of being 6 pages.This is my review on Maniac Magee.

Review: I think this book is not as good as I thought is would be. This book gets a little boring after a while. I think it was not smart of Jerry Spinelli to make more than 40 chapters, which are about 1 page each, instead of making long but less chapters. This book is about a 11 year old orphan boy who runs away from his uncle's house. Some statements in this book are very detailed and strong, but they are also confusing. I think you should you ask someone who has already read this book about if it is good or not.

Review: Maniac Magee is a great book by a wonderful author. Jerry Spinelli uses word phrases that make you look back just a couple words and read it a couple times so it mkaes sense. He uses very descriptive sentences. He uses tong twisters a lot. This book has a great interesting plot that makes you want to read more. This is by far one of my favorite books and will always be. If you read this costumer review i highly reccomend you go and read this book. I hope this reveiw atleast makes you think about reading Maniac Magee, and if you do decide to read it i hope you enjoy it.

Review: I disliked Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. I thought it was boring. I don't like how he makes the chapters only two pages. Jerry Spinelli has too many things going on at once. I don't like hjow he puts black an white people in together. I think he should focus on one color in each book. I dislike how Jerry Spinelli make up the names like Mars Bar, The cobras, and Graeson. I don't like how he comes up with those sayings because i think they are pretty bad. I didlike how in tghe beginning his parents die. I think Jerry Spinelli should have had them in the story a little more. Well i disliked this book. I suggest not to read it.

Review: I liked this book.It wasn't really interesting.I liked how Jerry Spinelli used creative words.It was catching and exotic.I was amazed by how Maniac survived without a home or food.I can't believe how he could untie the tightest knots. I read a little of Maniac Magee to my sister even though she didn't understand she didn't like it.The end was my favorite part because--well--you will have to find out! I wouldn't want to read it again.I rate it 3 stars.

Review: Jerry Spennelli has great writing abilities. He uses words that describe in more detail than just saying it. In the book Maniac Magee I really liked lots of things that he wrote, like "It was so hot outside that the dogs tounges were rubbing on the sidewalk". The story itself was very interesting, but fond of all the deaths and at the same funny.And I wasn't fond about all the deaths in the story. But most of all I liked. I recomend thisbook to older kids scince they have lots of hard words and deaths and very sad parts.

Review: by Samantha I thought Jerry's writting is great but I was not that intersted in his book as much as I think I should be . His writting and suspense was good , but there was not as much suspense as I wanted to read . He should put more villins in it . I know Mcnab , and Mars bars are bad but they should have done more. For people who have have fun reading his books . He should make a series for them . It is a nice book but I like more exciting books . I rate this 3 stars .
