Summary: What I thought about Maniac Magee!
Review: Reviewer-Jessica(A 6TH GRADER) Jerry Spinelli uses his words in the most exciting way. When I read Maniac Magee I felt sad for Maniac. I like how Jerry really gets into the story and you know he will always use great details. A lot of people are against other people that are a different color then thereselvs. I liked how Maniac did not care which color anyone was as long as you he liked someone it did not mattter to him which color they were. You can learn a good lesson from this book.I suggest you don't read this book unless tou like boring dragged out stories.

Review: I did not like this book because it was way to short and that isn't like me because i am in the middle of The Lord of the Rings. now this book wasn't like me because it was to short, boring and dull. Jerry spinnelli he use,s no action and a bairly any sense of humor. The ending is the worst part of the book.

Review: I think Jerry uses strong words but I like his informal language. I think Maniac is a weird kid to tell you the truth. He is a nice kid but he does some stupid things like running away. Running away doesn't solve the problem. If I had to choose this book from 1-5 I would choose 0 but up their where you choose a star, I had to choose 1. Polpe think he is so AMAZING but he isn't, just a regular kid that ran away,made some enemies, had no home or family but got some friends and a home to stay with.This story is just a regular story like all authors do.I like his sayings like, "Don't trip over your tongue" something like that. They are funny and they go one with the story.

Summary: The Most Deatailed Boring Story I've Ever Read
Review: Maniac Magee was a good book buyt out of the 160 pages or so about 20-25 was deatails. I think he did use creative words though. If he didn't spend so much time describing everything then I think a lot more people would have liked the book. Though a few parts of the book that I read I thought were cool but he has too much deatail. He could have made the plot better and the story longer and kept the same amount of detail and I would have loved the story. Though I would highly suggest the story to little kids, people who love detailed stories, or parents. If I had some more time to read this book then i might have liked it better (one sign this a book the schools read which makes it a good book). Well thats my opinion and some others may agree with it and some may not.

Review: I thought that Maniac Magee was a very movimg story. Mr. Spinelli puts a lot of the needed suspense and action into this book. It's about the boy who hit John McNab's fastballs, who missed Earl Grayson's stopballs, who played football with junior high and high schoolers, faking them out of their "Fruit of the Looms",and who walked the Beale's dog, Bow Wow.
Maniac had to put up with a lot of annoying things - no parents, a divorced aunt and uncle, an unusual group of enemies, and many different homes were just some of his problems. Maniac Magee was the 2nd best book I read all year.[The best book was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.]

Review: Maniac Magee was an exellent book to read. Jerry Spinelli really got you going. This is probably one of Jerry Spinelli's best books. Maniac Magee is one of my favorite books. I will probably read it again. Maniac Magee was filled with lots of adventures. My favorite part was when Maniac Magee hit the first frog bunt homerun. My favorite chapter is 35 because Maniac Magee moved in with the McNab's that chapter. I hope you decide to read this book if you haven't yet. One day I hope Jerry spinelli writes a book just as good or possibly better than Maniac Magee. READ IT! It's agreat book. I'll give this book 5 stars.

Review: Maniac Magee is a good book. I would give it four stars. It is a very moving story. I liked how Jerry Spinelii used his words. His style in his words were great. He shows excitement and feelings in his books.Even though I didn`t give it five stars I still liked the book.Im looking foward to reading another one of his great books.

Review: Maniac Magee was a pretty good book. I liked it because it was an easy reader. I liked the way Spinelli used his words to describe things. What I really liked was the mixed emotion in the book , for example at one moment Maniac was happy to have a house and the next Manaic was upset... I highly recomend this book to anyone who is looking forward to an adventure full of mixed feelings and excitement.

Review: I really like Maniac Magee because I like how Jerry Spinelli gives you alot of detail that you could almost picture it in your head. Like how the McNab house was such a dump that you almost can not see the floor. Or how Maniac had little red dots all over his face because he was alergic to pizza.My favorite parts are when Maniac makes bets with John McNabs little brothers because Maniac has to do crazy stunts. I'll rate Maniac Magee 4 from a scale of 1-5.
