Rating: Summary: Great for getting a handle on the myopic Right! Review: More pap from the right in answer to pap from the left. We can win a war on terrorism by becoming terrorists ourselves or we can find another way. Becoming terrorists ourselves will never work and I don't need to give examples. Simply follow the news over the years and the truth of this statement become obvious. It hasn't worked in Israel, it hasn't worked in Northern Ireland, and it won't work here. Trying to battle a very loose network of "terrorists" can be likened to rounding up a herd of cats. Try it sometime to get the full understanding. What far too many "authorities" in this country fail to realize that many of the attacks we've witnessed and will continue to witness are not as well organized or centralized as our leaders want us to think. Hannity fails to realize this. Bush and his staff fail to realize this. People who are sympathetic to the likes of bin Laden and are not part of his organization conduct many of the attacks we've seen and will continue to see. In short these "groups" are similar in makeup and mindset to the "Skinheads" and "White Power" groups that America found itself dealing with as few as five years ago. Blaming Clinton-Gore for this problem is not only counter-productive it's revealing. Hannity is obviously trying to make a problem for all of us the fault of a prior administration and for no other reason than political gain. Our enemies are nothing more than "Middle Eastern trailer park trash" loosely led by intelligence with an agenda. It's doubtful that the leader's agenda is even religious in nature. How can we win this "war?" By trying to improve the lives of those who hate us. By helping the "have-nots" become "haves." By educating those who cannot even read the Q'ran because they are illiterate. In short by making them us. So pointing fingers of blame will only divide us and further the cause of the bin Ladens this world. By the way what ever happened to Osama?
Rating: Summary: Let Freedom Ring Review: Sean...Great book. If only the left would be willing to read this book. Hits the major topics of politics today and uncovers the lies of the left. MUST READ!
Rating: Summary: Drivel by Sean Hannity Review: This book was given to me so I can't say that I wasted my money on it. My title for Mr. Hannity's book is very forgiving for its content. There are no new ideas or rhetoric here, not even for a White Power person such as Mr. Hannity. He had one point that he repeated over and over and that is that all the problems in the world are caused by the "Left". He did not define who the Left are so that was a little disappointing. The other disapoinnting thing is that Mr. Hannity never learned the word "parsimony", but then again it must be hard for him becasue his vocabulary numbers less then 2000 words.
Rating: Summary: Phenomenal!! Absolutely incredible! Review: Sean Hannity delivers the truth as blunt as it comes. Good for people who cant handle Rush Limbaugh's.... boldness. Seans book outlines what problems are currently facing us as a nation and exposes some of the biggest names in our government for what they are. Every page is filled with facts that many people never bother to research offering a great reference for debates and arguments. Hateful? No. Racist? No. Truth exposing? Absolutely!
Rating: Summary: A new classic Review: This has to be one of the best books I've ever read. Hannity does a great job of backing up his points with facts and keeps the book interesting with the text from his interviews with different politician. If you are thinking about purchasing this book I highly reccommend it. It's worth every penny of the price!
Rating: Summary: No clear thinking Review: Mr Hanritty is so wrapped up in the sound of his own drum beating in his head that he fails to make any logical argument. His diatribes against the Left lack consistency and evidence. I was looking for cogent dialogue, but found none here.
Rating: Summary: blah blah blah Review: If you're going to waste your time reading non-sensical conservative rhetoric, you might as well read Limbaugh. Hannity may be the next big thing in the conservative media but his ideas seem toe the Republican line very neatly, with no new insights. The book basically amounts to "Conservative Good, Liberal Bad" in keeping with the simplistic views of the president. Maybe a book written by a conservative who's not a right-wing nut would be worth reading but this is not it. Very poor!
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time reading the reviews!!! Review: Like most of the "reviews" for this book, this isn't a review. Most of the reviews for this book are worthless, because they simply state either A) This book is well written, blah blah (Meaning, I agree with what it says because I'm a Conservative) OR B) This book is poorly written blah blah (Meaning, I disagree with what it says because I'm leftist) This phenomina seems to be particularly common for liberals who CLAIM to buy conservative books, then go online and bash them and give them 1 stars. Most of the 1 and 2 star reviews barely even talk about the book. They simply state the reviewer's prexisting prejudices against conservatives and conservatism (ie. conservatives want to take money from the poor and give to the rich, oppress minorities, kill women, pollute the air and water, squash freedom, torture cute little puppies for fun, and eat cute little kittens for dinner). Overall, it's rather pathetic and an abuse of the Review system. This book is OBVIOUSLY Conservative, one-sided, (probably) well-written, anti-leftist, and highly opinionated. You don't even need to open the cover to figure this out.
Rating: Summary: This is intelligent political discourse? Review: Pigeon-holing everyone as either 'liberal' or 'conservative' when most people are neither -- most fall somewhere in the middle -- is just plain, well ... is it okay to use the word 'stupid'? This book also questions the patriotism of liberals, a ridiculous tool used by the extreme Right nowadays. This tome is full of hero-worshiping and offers no concrete analysis of the problems we face today. And if you're looking for ideas...well...just forget it, they're not here. What I want to know is where's the War on Terrorism? What's all this hullabaloo about Iraq? Is that part of the War on Terror? Where's the connection between Iraq & terror - the smoking gun? Why aren't we going after Saudi Arabia when most of the 9/11 hijackers were from there? (The answer to that last one is obvious.) If you've ever been to Saudi Arabia, as I have, you'd know that they -- the Saudi citizens -- don't just dislike us, they HATE us with every fiber in their being, and it's getting worse. That hatred spills over into the Saudi government, but the government has very effective PR folks in this country trying to convince us that they're our ally. Sean sure abides by the Republican 11th Commandment - 'Never criticize another Republican'...
Rating: Summary: You know you've hit a nerve . . . Review: . . . when the know-nothing Left goes into apoplexy. Hannity has written a perfectly reasonable book, nothing like the inept yet vicious screeds coming from the likes of Michael Moore and James Carville, nothing like the pouty kiss-and-tell fake insider look at Washington by David "Judas" Brock. Yet the only criticism the Left can mount is ad hominem attacks. Memo to dyed-in-the-wool liberals: Get a plan, or find yourselves on the dust-heap of history.
