Review: I also heard this was going to be a movie and I pray they don't butcher it (like they did with Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger). I think the book itself was very good and very insightful into the world of espionage and counter-espionage. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that I sleepwalked through the first 100 or so pages of this book. Otherwise it was great.

Summary: THE BEST SPY NOVEL EVER!
Review: Less of a technothriller and more of a spy novel, this is one of Tom Clancy's best. I look forward to the movie as well, I've heard on the Net about this being filmed! The best thing about this book is the Moscow scenes, the locations are spot on and accurate, I have travelled to Moscow (and St. Petersburg) myself and could recognise the street names and descriptions vivdly. The story, which is sometimes similar to Dale Brown's 'Silver Tower'(Cardinal came first!) concerns the race to develop a space weapons platform by the US and Soviets. Add to this a leak in the KGB by the CARDINAL of the title, and a conflict on the borders of Afghanistan with heroics by a soldier known as The Archer with his Stinger missile launcher as his buddy, and what more do you need? Great action, authentic locations and top characterisations. Well done Mr Clancy! One that's hard to put down, too.

Review: I am only 16 years old, but I read my first clancy novel, this one, when I was in junior high. Undoubtedly this is his greates novel, it deals with the intricacies of espionage and the importance on a global scale, and excites and enthralls the reader throughout every page. Buy this book! You'll thank me for it.

Review: After reading this book, I was in awe. You don't need to be some Cold War buff to understand this book. I'm only a Junior in high school and I understood it and was able to figure out what was going on. The Archer was the character that inspired me the most. His bravery and courage outdid everyone in the book.

Review: Quite a good effort! He uses his usual skill, using two story lines to combine into a story. These time, he shows his understanding in the army and national defense for his description of the star war system. This is quite realistic indeed. Unfortunately, he includes some nonsense. But I have to say this is a book for those who love adventurous, techological story.

Summary: The ballerina was a tart. She wanted to, so she was.
Review: I did not expect the roaches to kill the president. A real shocker. Than the tart ballerina got in the way. That was a total messup. She should have been killed by those aliens. Now there was a killer! Foxy Smoulder and Dana Scummy got rid of them, though. Too bad. I really enjoyed this book. I can relate.

Review: yes i am a freshman in high school, but that doesnt mean i dont like to read tom clancy's books. I have read only read The Cardinal of The Kremlin, and Patriot Games, but i am hooked for life on Clancy's books. They are the best.
