Review: I'm a 10 year old girl who read this book and liked it for a lot of reasons.One thing that I liked about it was the funny characters. My favorite character was Nick Allen who invented Frindle. I think that anyone who likes funny books and mystery books should read Frindle.

Summary: Rebel proves the "pen" is truly mighty.
Review: This book reminds me of the folktale "Master of all Masters"- for often inventing a new language can be disastrous. Though Nick is clever and due to word of mouth his experiment succeeds, the teacher is the real heroine in this book. The letter at the end shows her foresight and confidence in her student. Kids may love it for its rebellion, but I like it because in the end- its the teacher who helps the student succeed.

Summary: Really funny book!
Review: I think this book was very funny. It is about a boy who invents a new word for a pen. He calls it a frindle. The boy's name is Nick Allen, and his new word is spreading across the country, and he can't stop it. It is funny because so many kids are using the word now, and they have to stay after school and write a hundred sentences. I don't know what other books Andrew Clements has written, but they must be good books. I hope he has written other books like these. He puts a lot of dramatic parts in the book and has a creative and imaginative mind.

Review: I am in a book club and we picked Frindle and my favorite part was when almost every kid in his grade had to stay after school and I also liked when he picked up his friends pen and called it a Frindle!

Review: We are from The Stettler Elementry School Book Club and we just finished reading Frindle. We think this book is a really funny book. We liked the part when Nick gets a maroon pen from Mrs. Granger. It was sad at the end when Nick recieved the letters from Mrs. Granger.
