Summary: A novel that you can't put down
Review: This was a great book that had romance in it but it did not overpower the sense of the story and the true meaning of the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: another good one by brown...
Review: what i liked about this one (taped version) was that it was so different from her other books . . . but maybe that's why i like author; her books are always different . . . there was an excellent narration by stephen lang.

Summary: Does "No Mercy" ring a bell??
Review: Didn't we see a bad Gere and Basinger movie in 1986 called No Mercy that was more or less like this one, even down to New Orleans. Besides that what was the author thinking...or maybe she wasn't thinking at all. God bless Remy, the amount of "trauma" in her life didn't make me empathize with her, but amused me because it was so contrived. If you want to enjoy a Brown, read "Where There's Smoke."

Fat Tuesday is a whole of grease and no substance.

Summary: A Book That I'll Keep.
Review: Although this is the 1st Sandra BROWN novel that I've ever read, I like it a lot. The first 1 to 2 chapters might be a bit stale and ordinary, but when it got to the plot part, it got very interesting. It has actions; it has some small romance, and most importantly, a good story line making it more enticing and rich to read. I literally stayed up late attempting to finish the book before I yielded to my sleepiness. I am quite surprised that a woman author could write an action oriented book that comes out well like FAT TUESDAY. I am definitely looking forward to her next novel.

Summary: Pure Trash
Review: If you like trashy novels, then Sandra Brown is an author to recommend. FAT TUESDAY is a knight-saves-damsel-in-distress story set in contemporary New Orleans. The knight is a run down ex cop; the damsel, a convent-educated daughter of a dead whore. The story is trite and predictable and not worthy of its best-seller status--or the list price.

Summary: stick to romance novels
Review: I'm normally a mystery reader. Ms. Brown's story is very implausible. Can someone tell me: if Burke "dropped his pistol and covered his ears" who on earth shot Pinkie?? I was very disappointed with this book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Okay, but not one of her best!!!
Review: This one was OK. I am too used to the steamy style of her other books. As a regular novel it is OK. She is better off sticking to her romance novels. Slow Heat in Heaven is good, as is Mirror Image.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent... A book for all
Review: Sandra Brown has done it again. Twists and turns, murder, and romance all in one... it is a splendid read for anyone who has time... seeing as you cannot put it down once you have picked it up. Burke, ruggedly handsome, seeks revenge using "Pinkie" Duvalls prized possession... his wife, stopping at nothing to get his job done, having nothing to loose. What will happen at the end... read the book and find out......

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent
Review: I have read most of Sandra Brown's novels and this is one of her best. The characters were entertaining and made for good reading.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intense read for man or woman
Review: Reading this book took only a few short days, I'm a Mom,come on. I really enjoyed this book. Brown made Duvall so evil and all the rest of the characters so interesting. I love reading about that region of the states in a novel, it just seems to add sex and heat to the plot. I would give this book as a gift to someone who really enjoys true honest reading.
