Summary: the game
Review: I liked this book. I've read all his books (even though I'm "supposedly" too young for such mature content lol) and I've enjoyed them all.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: NOT A GOOD READ!!!
Review: I am a huge fan of Mr. Dickey's works. This one was not his best. I wanted to slap the mess out of Dana so many times it was not even funny. All of his other books had twist and turns that make you want to keep reading to see what happens next...This one made me want to keep reading so that I could get it over with. If you have never been a fan of his works or never read his works than this is not a good book to start with. Read his other one's first.

Summary: Very realistic
Review: I love Mr. Dickey's books. My favorite is Cheaters, but Liar's Game is a close second. Liar's Game is not your typical romance novel. You know where boy meets girl; boy falls in love with girl; boy marries girl and lives happily ever after. Dickey shows that it's easy to fall in love, but it's hard to be in love because of peoples' emmotional baggage. I recommend this book to any and everyone who's Mr. or Ms. Right showed up with a U-Haul of emmotional baggage to go along with your own skeleton filled walk -in-closet.

Summary: A Horrible Waste of Time
Review: I had never read a book by Mr. Dickey. I must admit, i was dissapointed by his style as well his plot. I have never known a person or character with so many issues like Dana. Dickey continually dissapoints you with the lack of a plot and the lack of strong characters. Stay away unless you want to be bored out of your skull. I would rather watch grass grow on a golf course than read this book again!!!!!!

Summary: A Speechless Book
Review: What can I say? This book has suddenly made me speechless. While I was looking for a book that was exciting, real, funny, and suitable for my age for a quarter project, I ran across this book. I looked at and could tell that it was the one for me. Boy, was I right. This book is spectacular. I really loved it. If I wasn't so busy right now I would read it again. This book really grabs your attention and will keep you reading until you get tired of just looking at the pages (not the book, you wouldn't even want to put it down for a minute). It has drama, sensuality, comedy, and everything else that most people go through with couples. Liar's Game is mainly about a young woman named Dana and a young man named Vince. Dana moved from New York to Los Angeles to get away from a bad relationship that lasted too long. She needed a new place to start a new life, with a new atmosphere, job, and definitely a new man in her life. Vince was the one. When she meets Vince he seems like her soul mate; handsome, hardworking with a good job, and kind of sexy, silent kind of way. But that silence meant that Vince wasn't telling her something that she needed to know about his life in order for them to remain faithfull to each other. When Dana's ex-boyfriend and Vince's ex-wife suddenly come to town, the truth finally comes out. People are pulling cards and their painful pasts come out into the open. They are now dealing with a new honesty they hoped would never be. Only then will they have a fighting chance at getting their lives back the way they used to be.

Read this book. Its a page turner.

Summary: My first EJD book & Dana got on my nerves!
Review: I wanted Vince to buy her a final Big Mac and send her back East to the world she said she craved. Eventhough she pumped ip Vince with guts to demand to see his daughter, her selfishness nawwed at my nerves. On every other page, there was a similie, that also rankled my nerves. I will read another EJD, just because I am curious if they all do sound alike.

Summary: Excellent
Review: Took me awhile to read it through its entirety, but overall the book was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Typical
Review: Dana, and Vince meet in a club, end up falling in love, they go through their ups and downs. Dana's ex comes back in the scene, and Vince exwife comes back to town with her new husband, and Vince's daughter. That was a cruel thing Dana did in not telling Vince about the calls from his ex-wife. The only suprise in the book was what happened to Dana's friend Gerri. The leading lady in the book was easy as usual, her and the guy moved way to fast.

Summary: Not that good
Review: I was a big fan of Eric Jerome Dickey and I have read all of his books, but is it just me or all of his books starting to sound alike? It seems like they are all out in L.A. and that there is always a man with his heart broken. He is a very good writer but I was not feeling this book. Reminded me of all of the other ones with that tierd, hurt, black man plot.
