Rating: Summary: Great story Review: There was a movie on this book I beleive in 1985. Can anybody tell me how and where I can get it?
Rating: Summary: Predictable Always Review: Overall the book is interesting. Yet I felt that the story hardly had any surprises. I could more or less always predict the chain of events that would form the story line. This is the only book I have read by this author and this is supposed to be one of his great works. I wonder how amateur his other plots might be.
Rating: Summary: Unputdownable Review: Ol' Jeffrey sure knows how to spin a yarn. This stunning piece of work gripped me more than any novel I have read before or since. Let the critics and literary snobs scoff all they want; Kane and Abel is an epic tour de force. Why are they so ashamed to admit it?
Rating: Summary: THE MOST INCREDIBLE BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! Review: This is the first Jeffrey Archer book I have read. I must say it is the most incredible piece of work I have ever come across. The story was riveting until the very end. I didn't sleep for three days just so that I could finish the book. I agree with Larry King's comment that:"..there isn't a better storyteller alive!"
Rating: Summary: Archer's Greatest Work! Review: What more is there to say? READ THIS BOOK! IT is one of the greatest books I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: While I will not rave and praise it, Kane and Abel is definitely an excellent book to read. As usual, it's full of life-struggling situations that one could believe to happen in real life. You cannot help but to envy the characters in the book of their abilities to move up the society's ladders using their charms, wits, ambitions. One thing that I would disagree is that, it is not the best of Archer's work. That title safely goes to As The Crow Flies instead. Of course, that's just my opinion.
Rating: Summary: Like Tony the Tiger says GRRRRRRRRREAT! Review: This was the book that got me into reading. I haven't found one yet that was anywhere near this good! Thank you Jeffrey, I never knew reading could be so much fun.
Rating: Summary: greatest book I have ever read Review: I picked up this book one day during a break in a class. It was someone else's but I went to the library that day and checked it out so that I could finish reading it. Since then I have purchased the book and reread the book several times. Out of all the books that I have ever read this is is by far the best.
