Rating: Summary: Too good Review: I never used to read any novels. This was the first novel I read. Liked it very much. Planning to read all Archers novels
Rating: Summary: Cain and Abel Review: Kane and Abel is Jeffrey Archer's best. It is the story of two men, born on the same day in 1906, on opposite sides of the world, who battle enemies of all kinds, including each other to come out on top of the financial world. This novel has some of the most gripping images you will ever read. If you like fierce, cutthroat economics, and an enthralling storyline, this book is for you.
Rating: Summary: Fantabulous ! Review: Absolutely Brilliant ! I've read again K & A after 5 years and I enjoyed it even MORE then the first time...Inspires, delights and makes you wish the book would never end ...
Rating: Summary: A SORRY TALE OF A CONFUSED AUTHOR: PLOT MISMATCH Review: I have just finished reading kane&abel, i must confess that the author brings out delight in treating of the affluent class, as well as the final closing of the climax, the discovery of the real patorn of abel rosenoski was in my view flawed, It raises only question is that, if there was so much hatered and jealosy why the hell the willium kane would have to help the abel fisrthandedly and the hate him till his end. A very poor and dissopointing end to how ever a brilliantley told story. If the author had taken interest in developing of climax the story would be much better.
Rating: Summary: What a load of tripe! Review: Lord Archer can't write for toffee. Anyone who considers this inane doggeral to be literature of note is clearly an imbecile. I've seen more insightful prose on the back of a bus ticket. It's nothing but poorly written, cliched tosh of the worst order.
Rating: Summary: Kane and Abel Review: I would rate Kane and Abel 10 out of 10. It is a brilliant boo
Rating: Summary: An incredible fabrication! Review: Archer knows big business and he tells it how it is; an unbelievable tale of two bitter business rivals and the lengths they are prepared to go to achieve their ambitions. William Kane, the ruthless financier and insider-trader will stop at nothing from purloining Canadian whistles to paying a prossie "hush-money" in order to ingratiate himself with the politically corrupt. Abel Preposterevski, the self-styled slav-on-the-make, whose rapacious greed and ammoral attitude to life are only matched by his bogus academic qualifications and reputation as a serial perjurer. Archer made me weep and laugh in equal measure. No one in Britain today writes like what he does - the man's a genius! Buy this book now!
Rating: Summary: MY IMPRESSIONS Review: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.STUNNING;SOMETHING TO REMEMBER
Rating: Summary: Kane & Abel Review: I found this book in a junk pile at our local dump. I doubted I would ever read it, but I thought I might pick it up on some rainy day. When I picked it up I didn't put it down. The sheer briliance and layout of the story will never cease to amaze me. I'm a male and usually don't cry except on rare occasions. Maybe once every five years. I cried after I read this book. If anyone questions the meaning of life or how great the joys of life can be please read this book. You won't reget it. I promise.
Rating: Summary: Archer & Me Review: A man once said about Jeffey Archer that " there isn't a better story teller alive" and that's right! Kane & Able is one of his greatest books. Archer manages agin to write a book that twist a turns like the wind with an enourmous diversity of chrachters. I had a great time reading this book an i am sure you will as well!
