Review: I really liked this book. Peretti is a GREAT author. When I was reading it, it really made me think about how the good and bad angels are fighting for our souls all the time. I don't think anyone should take how he presents the "prayer cover" literally, because I don't believe that God is dependent on prayer to get things done. I also don't believe that the good angels have to literally fight with the demons(like with swords), but I don't think that Peretti meant for everything to be taken literally. It does show that God answers prayer, and that he uses people to answer prayer. I would recomend this book to anyone.

Review: This book, and his previous, This Present Darkness, spoke to my soul. It's amazing to me how God can truly speak to us if we only listen. Mr. Perretti has a God-given gift and I look forward to reading many more written by him!

Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK!
Review: I had thought this book was another armeggedon thing, but when I actually read it, I was hooked! This book totally changed the way I looked at the power of a praying saint. I think God really used Frank to send a message: We, as believers, have full access to His power through prayer- if we ask right. He will not leave us, and if Jesus is IN us, the Father's angels will never leave us. I also enjoyed the use of the different nationalities given to the angels, as well as the attitudes (my favorites were Cree and Chimon). It really made the book. Of course you know Who is going to win the war: but sometimes the battles require more prayer and work than we usually want to give. Praise God for His Love and His Son! The bottom line of this review is: THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!

Summary: well, it is better than the 1st one
Review: Peretti gets his spiritual message across very well, thats about all he does though. It reminds me of the Roadrunner cartoons(which everyone beggins to hate after 2 or 3 episodes). Demon vs angel, angel kills demon, demon really wasnt as powerful as ypu thought or Peretti made out to be. The "mystery" part of this book was pretty neat, but please not another impossibly hard-to-get-out of situation that keeps the reader glued, and then destroys him when the captive is freed within a matter of seconds. Really, what trained assasin would stab himself in the ribs while holding a knife to somones neck?...The demon vs angel fights are boring, we already know what is going to happen (just like the roadrunner cartoons)..face it, these demons are going to be extinct if they try to take over one more town..maybe then I wont have to read these for my Bible class.

Review: This book is definitely not as intense as The Oath is, but it has an even better message. It's clear, and direct. It's great to follow Sally on her quest for the truth and watch the angels fight the demons for her soul. This is definitely a must-read for any Peretti fans, and even for those who aren't!

Review: Piercing The Darknes is a wonderful book that tells the reader that not everything is what it seems to be. For example, in the book there is always something happening for either good or evil. Now, I won't tell who wins the whole war, but everything that happens in the book happens for a reason. That's what I think makes it such a good book. Also, the spiritual battles that each character in the book faces makes the story very exciting and breath-taking. Read it! It's the best!

Review: I really enjoyed this book. It opened my eyes to the reality of evil in this world. Anyone who denies that should be slapped. Just look around.Satan comes in many forms. All this talk about phycics and "meditation" is just softening the blow of Satan's real power. It is my personal opinion that this is preparing us for the end times.

Review: The Bible is very black and white on the presence and influence of both the demonic and angelic in our every day lives. Frank Perreti has managed to portray this in a way which both captures and scintillates ones imagination. This is a book that the devil would not want you to read for it illustrates the power that REAL christians possess by having the right to use the authority and the name of Jesus.
