Summary: THE POWER OF PRAYER
Review: I read this book many years ago and was looking for it for a friend. Even though a few years have passed, I still remember it today. I remember what it meant to me and how it inspired me that "through prayer ALL things are possible." I remember how it strengthened my own prayer life. Not just to pray for "good" things, but to pray for help to keep the "bad" things away. The folks who "didn't get it" are obviously "lost" and don't realize that the story Mr. Peretti "fictionalized" for us, really goes on in the spiritual world and that my friends does affect the real world. Don't take my word for it....read Ephesians 6:11-18 !!!

Review: This novel is astounding! It will change your life! Well written, and brilliantly put together. The battle scenes between the angels and demons were mesmerizing to say the least! Must READ!! The story of Sally Roe was extremely gratifying. The most well written novel ever made. THIS TIME THE SEQUEL IS BETTER THAN THE PREDECESSOR!! Can't wait to see the movie!!

Summary: Awesome Reading of Piercing
Review: I'm a reader, not a listener, by heart...but I loved this audio of Piercing the Darkness. I got it for my boyfriend, who finds it easier to get through books on tape than regular books. On our spring break trip we popped it in and it made the four hour drive to Houston FLY. Peretti does the reading himself, and some of his voices for the female characters I didn't care for, but the pace and the sound effects were AWESOME! A must "hear!"

Review: I must begin with what a wonderful book this was. Frank Peretti has changed my life with his book, "Piercing The Darkness." It may be fictional but to me this is true. Sally Beth Roe is me, except I have never killed anyone. As I was reading this book and after I finished it I truelly felt something that not even words can describe. All I can say is after reading this I truely feel as if I am one with GOD. Thank you Frank.

Review: In his second book, Piercing the Darkness, Frank Peretti hits a proverbial home run. He easily exceeds his first work, This Present Darkness, which was great in itself. The characters are developed more fully than they were in This Present Darkness and the plot reads like many of today's headlines. Rarely does a sequel exceed the original. But, Piercing The Darkness does just that. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is either concerned with the spiritual battles going on in the world today or who is looking for a suspense ride like few books deliver.

Review: Once you have read this absolutely riviting book, your outlook and perspective on demons and the evil in this world is changed dramaticly. I do encourage new born-again Christians to wait until they grow a little in their faith to read this book. This book has some REAL depth in it and in my opinion, I think it takes a mature Christian to understand it and have it put in the perspective it needs to be put in. As for me, Its the best book I've ever read in my life!!!!!!!!!
