Summary: The Absolute Best
Review: It is the book for you, if yor are tired of reading 10 useless pages to extract 3 lines of information. This books is written the way, I wish every technical book were written; 100% of the content is information, instead of 10%-20% of most computer books! I'd give 7 starts to the book, but I'm confined to 5. I'm trying to follow the style of Castro and convey my fellings about this great book in only a few lines.

Summary: The easiest programming book I have ever read
Review: This was the first book on programming that I read, and also turned out to be the easiest. I learned the basics of HTML without any effort, and soon dove into the more advanced areas. Since then, I have tried many other books and found myself feeling confused much more often than I would have liked. If only all programming books were as easy to understand as this one!

Summary: Best HTML Book For Beginners
Review: I read this book cover to cover many times, even though most of it was very confusing at first. She got me up and running for creating a basic HTML page in no time, and I was able to slowly learn more and more.

I now program with ASP/SQL Server/XML/JavaScript etc for the web. Unfortanatly, I lost my copy of this book as it was loaned out and not returned and I still wish I had it b/c it totally changed my career.

If you are a beginner, start with this and as you learn more you can get a more advanced book on HTML or JavaScript.

The people that have given this book poor reviews were probably not very motivated to really learn HTML or are just not very good at learning new concepts.

Summary: Truly an easy and enjoyable book.
Review: Not much time is wasted in steps trying to teach someone on how to click here or create a text file.

The whole HTML subject is broken down into tasks: formatting, text, layout commands, and cascading style sheets. Then individual HTML commands or tasks are illustrated one to a page. The steps fall down the outside of the page and colorful illustrations line the page's inside. All pages feature step-by-step instruction, tips, troubleshooting advice. A good book for novices and a reference for experienced users. The books strength is the visual approach it includes with screenshots and code examples. The book takes an easy, visual approach to teaching HTML, using pictures to guide you through the software and show you what to do.

The book presumes no prior knowledge of HTML, making it the perfect introduction for beginners. I enjoyed the book and I hope you will too!

Summary: Easy to Learn From
Review: I'm no computer guru, though I do generally catch on quickly. I found this book to be very easy to read and use. The author doesn't assume her reader is an idiot (with accompanying insulting title), but also doesn't assume that everyone knows computer jargon without definitions.

I really, really like this book. It explains so much, and so simply. Many operations I had been doing in a round-about way because I didn't know the easy way will be much simpler now. Anyone wishing to create a web page will find this book indisposable.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: This was the book from which I learned HTML about five years ago. I own a copy and have never read an easier-to-understand HTML book. Highly reccommended.

Summary: This Book Contains a Mountain of College
Review: This book is spectacular. It's because of that that I right this wrong, meaning write this review. Note the play on words, I mean wertz. There's something subtle about the book because it's not hardcover.

Instructions included. Breakfast is on me, literally and the other way.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An fantastic resource
Review: A must have for anyone who does any HTML work
