Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good book
Review: I'm using a lot of concepts AND examples from this book in our current project. Guess its a very useful introduction to servlets for someone who knows Java.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not good for the beginner
Review: The book starts of well but then gradually becomes unsuitable for the beginner. Too many things are assumed that the reader knows. I recommend "Developing Java Servlets" by Goodwill. Its cheaper and better. More code examples too.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Great book for beginner or intermediate programmer
Review: This is a very good book for someone who is trying to learn and understand how to implement server-side applications using servlets. I found it to be very useful.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: The book's not bad, but it's not as good as others
Review: When I first started reading Jason Hunter's Java Servlet Programming, I thought it was great. But after reading several other servlet books, I realize it was really only mediocre. "Inside Java Servlets" for example has much more material, and is a much better title to learn from.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Concise & perfect
Review: This book gives very concise and perfect idea about servlet programming. I got what I was looking for.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book to get up and running with Servlets
Review: This book is perfect for someone versed in Java to get up and running with Servlets. I read it through when I started developing with Servlets and still use it as a reference from time to time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Beginner's choice
Review: A very good books for beginners. It gives you a clear concept on how servlet works. It also lists lot of websites where you can find servlet engine, jdbc, etc. I really build my web application with just this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I got it
Review: I found this book easy to follow. They had lots of info. And I tried. I see a lot of people bashing the book, maybe they didn't concentrate. There is a difference between not liking a book and being angry at it. Why are some of you angry?

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I didn't like it.
Review: I didn't like it. My money could have been better spent
