Summary: This book is like comming home!
Review: The sights, smells, tastes and love I found in my grandmother Domenica's kitchen all came alive in this book. If you are of Italian heritage you will be welcome home in the stories and recipes and if you are an Americana you will find easy to prepare culinary fare to impress and delight your loved ones. Ciao!

Review: These are the recipes I remember from my grandmother's kitchen. When she passed away, so many recipes went with her. But Mammanon brought them back to life in this wonderful cookbook. It's my all time favorite. If you insist on authentic Italian cooking, it's the one you must have in your kitchen.

Review: These are the recipies that I grew up with - that Grandma made for Sunday dinners and Holidays. If she had compiled a book- right down to the photos - it would be the same!!!
It's so nice to have them 'written down' for posterity - the photos are a plus! Like looking at a family scrap book.
BRAVO!!

Summary: Outstanding!
Review: This book contains the recipes I grew up with. This is Italian-American cooking at its best. There are no pretentions, no apologies, and none of the conceit that can be present in books talking about the "haute cuisine" of Italy. If you want to know the difference between Italian-American cooking and Italian cooking, read this book. Elodia Rigante is not Marcella Hazan. She is Mama and has written an entertaining and informative book. Brava, Elodia!
