Summary: Casta is wonderful and her book is great!
Review: I love this book! I have always perceived that Laetitia Casta is beyond a supermodel. Unlike her supermodel peer, Casta seems to be very down to earth. Her quotes are very refreshingly honest. More, Casta is also physically capable as some of you might already know that she has successfully finished a boot camp training session in the French army. Yes, Casta is hot and some of her pictures are revealing. However, she is much more than a beautiful face and wonderful body. Casta is an intelligent, strong, professional woman.

Summary: Interesting but bland look at this gorgeous supermodel
Review: I received an advance copy of "Laetitia Casta." While I found this picture book to be a fitting way of displaying an autobiography for a model, the photos within lacked the luster of the full color magazine inserts and posters that we see of this beautiful supermodel. There are very few photos of Laetitia that we have not seen as she is splashed all over the world, and yet this book should have displayed a great deal of exclusive photos to separate it from the common magazine. While I enjoyed reading what she has to say about her life as a model (she definitely possesses grace and poetic beauty in her words as she does in her photos) I would have been more impressed if the book displayed more unreleased material.

Summary: Tasty but still somewhat stale...What a Babe!!!
Review: I share some of the feelings of similar reviewers - I wish there were more photos in here not previously published. Still this book is a great collection of some of her best photos - including the outstanding Demarchelier nudes. It's also spiced up with some great comments by Laetitia herself, although I was rather disappointed by the comments on her love life: darnit, and I hoped she was saving herself for me! But THE BIGGEST LETDOWN was the low quality paper it was printed on, and they certainly could have included a lot more great photos. I realize they probably wanted to keep the price low, but I'm sure that with as many devoted fans as she has they could have produced a $60 product a still made a mint. DIS-LUI BIENDES CHOSES AMOUR

Summary: The Most DESIRABLE Woman EVER in the world!
Review: If you are a true fan of Laetitia Casta, you will really like this book, despite what some naysayers say about the quality of paper and selection of photos - who cares, she's so darn beautiful, it's fine anyway - enjoy it! There are pictures of young Laetitia and her whole family and relatives. I like this page, it shows more of who she is. Go get it, it's well worth the money!

Summary: The Lovely Laetitia
Review: If you want to know how much Laetita enjoys modeling, or she feels about her body, or her thoughts on dating, well then you will enjoy this book. While this book tries to present Laetitia as a three-dimensional character by quoting her and her friends, the quotes and write-ups only detract from what the book intends. Its a picture book of Laetitia Casta in all her form and beauty, in mostly every pose you can think of. Some photos are friendly, others seductive, and certainly some where you cant move your eyes from the picture. I am not concerned with how nice a person she may be, or what her agents say about her, I dont even care what she looks for in a boyfriend because thats not why I bought the book. If I wanted that, I surely could pick up any Cosmopolitan and find out anything about her. Or go on the internet. No, I just wanted to look. I wanted to use my eyes and gaze upon her shapely legs, her gorgeous breasts, and her angelic face. Thats what I bought this book for and thats what I did (ok, I did read the by-lines and sound bites, but for what end I am not sure). A good book for anyone who loves to look at a beautiful woman. Better because its Laetitia.

If you love Laetitia Marie Laure Casta ignore all reviews and get this book you'll love it just because you love her. It's great and worth it.

Summary: Lucscious, Beautiful, Timeleses
Review: In the beginning, we see many pictures of Laetitia's early life in Corsica. The photos of the sun bleached walls of her native villa gives us the distinct feeling that we can somehow 'understand' how she projects that simple 'provincial' quality.

We see some of her early modeling work before we are moved into her Victoria's era. With this we get a retrospective of the Latetitia fest of the late 90s.

As the exposition and the bonanza subside, we are presented intimate photos with snippets from interviews. I loved this part of the book the most as it was so much more real than the earlier parts. I address two subsets of this section below.

I most enjoyed her thoughts on modelling --it's strange to see such a famous and beautiful person give her perspective on her odd occupation.

Invariably one will be asking about the nudes in the book. They are simply lovely. If your' hoping to see erotic art, this is not the book, but in Latetia's nakedness we see an Eden-esque romantcization of the female form.

By this time though, the reader is wrapped in a bigger mystery and the book completely fails in this one capacity: "Who is Laetitia Casta." Her quips about nudity and men and her drawings demand in the reader the urge to *know* her - to have her to coffee, dinner, or to share an umbrella with her.

The interviews tell us that she is so much more beyond a beautiful face. We see the Corsican sun shape her, we see her ease with modelling at an early age -- but who is she?

It's maddening

At the end of the book you feel a bit lost. The book humanized the face of a thousand magazines -- but forgot to make her our friend at the end.

Summary: Great Look
Review: It's a biographic book, using pics. The book is great format and presentation, and the photographies are very good quality. Some pics are very very impressives, and you don't need to breath when you are looking into.
