Summary: Beautiful model--but book could have been better !
Review: Laetita and the photos are good, but paper and quality of reproductions could have been much better. The poster is very good, but useless since it is folded into four sections! I would like to see a better quality book with more recent photos.

Summary: I love it!
Review: Laetitia Casta is an amazing model and this book, I feel, is a great representation of her career and life. The photography and layout is simply incredible and it exposes Laetitia's personality, which so few have seen. A wonderful album for a wonderful woman!

Summary: "Laetitia" is like a great beauty with spinach on her teeth.
Review: Laetitia Casta is, of course, a spectacularly beautiful and shapely model, and the photographers represented in the eponymous book are among the best and most fashionable in the world. Alas, the photos are vandalized by the worst reproduction and printing quality in a photo book in recent years. Previews of the book in "Photo" and other magazines carry greatly superior reproductions of the images which here are out of focus and muddy. "Forms", by Patrick Demarchelier, carries several of the same images and a comparison of the two books is utterly humiliating for the dreadful Laetitia. As for the color images -- well, only the mini poster glued to the back cover offers anything worth viewing. Don't buy the book without seeing it first, so you can be sure of what you are -- and are not -- getting.

Summary: A woman to define the female form
Review: Laetitia Casta redefines the female form. Those who admire the beauty and shape of a real woman will enjoy this book and admire the childlike beauty of it's subject. The insite into her personality displays an individual who could bring new hope in humankind. Although the subject calls for five stars, it is the lack of personal material that brings this collection to a more human four. In addition, the photos are of mediocre caliber. All in all it is solely on the magnificence of the subject that makes this book a wonderfull addition to the fan of Laetitia and art in general.

Summary: intelligence

Summary: beautiful but needing more.
Review: Laetitia is rare; she shatters model steryotypes. Her name means, "pure joy," which fits her. This book offers a glimpse of her world, her genuine happiness, charms, and inner beauty, offering family and "unprophesinal" photographs, as well as whimsical origonal art by her. Mostly, however, it is a book of stunning fashion photogrophy showcasing her remarkable outer beauty, which is truly inspiering. I wish there was more of her writing: her thoughts, dreams, and perspectives, which offer the most interest in the book, but are too sparse. An interview would have been good. As it is, it feels incomplete, but perhaps only because it is hard to get too much of Laetitia. Her carrer is continuing to rise, and is ever interesting. Hopefully this will not be her last book. I have not recived a more exciting book in years. Thank you Laetitia.

Summary: marianne
Review: laetitia. so achingly beautiful and you know you can't have her.

the layout was average and the photos mostly seen on print magazines. the lure is laetitia herself. i liked the tales and stories. recounting her childhood and family. i know it's a glossy account but nevertheless it kept me entertained. on print quality, the book fails. i would have expected more of the french "marianne".

Summary: A beautiful girl? Yes. A beautiful book? Maybe...
Review: Of course, any photo book about Laetitia Casta would be interesting. But, if you are a fan of Laetitia Casta, you probably already know most of the photos shown in this book. The main problem is the poor quality of print. For a book this price, this is a sad thing.

Summary: Shatters the Shannon ceiling for broadband on paper!
Review: Shatters the Shannon ceiling for light bearing capacity in a paper medium. More than 350 terahertz of analog bandwidth achieved with absolutely no silicon amplification. Bends photons through Gauzian curves and confirms Einsteinian time space warp. Warning: Like the Sistine Chapel, contains some discreet nudity and should not be used by male persons with a history of heart problems unless in easy reach of defibrillation or ice water.

Summary: Close to Heaven
Review: Stunning. This book is worth is every penny. Laetitia is beautiful. Her inner beauty far exceeds her outter, though that may seem impossible. The pages are designed with a creative tone with classic Laetitia pictures and unique collections too. This may be as close as I ever get to this beautiful person. JDW.
