Rating: Summary: The best book for the coolest game Review: Hi, FFVII fans. This book is extremely recomendded on defeating Shinra inc. With wonderful strategies and full color maps, this guide is a must have for fans. Caution: If your parents don't like Cloud on the cover or animei, tell your friends to buy this guide for you. Some exceptions to include: most of the beginnings of strategies say "Cast haste, Regen," which isn't a bad thing, but other say to "Plummel with powerful spells". Overall, I havn't found spelling errors, but his a great guide.
Rating: Summary: whats with the 1/35 soldiers ? Review: I found the book pretty helpfull for the most part.but it doesnt give you all the info you need.like those 1/35 soldiers.I was alwase only able to get 7 of them but no more than that.my friends all tell me that if you get them all you get another character to replace the space that is open from after Aries dies.I wish I could find out , and I will continue looking on the internet for the 1/35 soldiers.
Rating: Summary: excellent, as good as it gets Review: I haven't seen the "Perfect Guide" by Versus, but I REALLY doubt it could be better than this one. I can't think of 1 thing this guide doesn't have except a list of Enemy Skills, which enemy you get them from, and what they do. However, they do list them in the Enemy List in the back. Other than that, this guide has everything, including all the Ultimate Weapons and Limit Breaks, every kind of Materia and useful combinations, a list of all the enemies, weapons, armors, and accessories, complete strategies to beating enemies, bosses, and mini-games, and anything else I might have missed...oh, yeah, and don't forget how to raise Chocobos and how to get the 4 special kinds. It really couldn't get better than this, and as far as the Enemy Skills go, if you don't like to keep looking in the back of the book, just go online and print a nice list out from a site. Even those skilled and experienced in the "Final Fantasy" series NEED to get a guide, preferably this one or the one by Versus (they make excellent guides, especially for the "Zelda" series), otherwise they'll miss all the secrets and things you would not be able to figure out by yourself. Trust me, GET THIS GUIDE and you'll be able to fully experience the fun of "Final Fantasy VII."
Rating: Summary: Good, at least as best as you can get... Review: This guide is good. It walks you through the game, tells descriptions of the bosses, and tells you what to do if you need help. Sure there are mistakes, like spelling and Items, but thats life. You can't help that. It helps you as much as it can without doing it for you. You can't beat that. Brady Games knows final fantasy 7, and this guide shows nothing less. Brady Games has done it again, creating a perfect guide.
Rating: Summary: Better than the FF9 piece of.... Review: This is a GREAT guide. it tells you everything without going to playonline.com. Of course, there are a few flaws, but we're only human and there are 200 some pages in the book. One thing the book does is not spoil the ending, and is very detailed, with the exeption of a few things. It is well worth the money unlike the FF9 guide which refers you to a website all the time. So, if you are the person that has looked at strategy guides before, this should be a treat, oh and don't buy the FF9 guide. Good Luck.
Rating: Summary: hmm... is it worth the money Review: well, as a webmaster of a final fantsay site myself... ive read an AWFUL lot of ff7 walkthroughs. this one is ok, but the price unjustified as you can get a far more, although i hate to say it, accurate walkthrough from almost any final fantasy site on the net. i think the book point the player in the correct directions but should really be more accurate on its fact, as it IS the official guide
Rating: Summary: FF7 FF8 and Legend of Dragoon is there a connection? Review: I think personaly that FF7 FF8 and The Legend Of Dragoon are the best games I ever played in FF7 there is the golden scaucer in FF8 you can play cards and in legend of dragoon there is a small carnival and all of them are so fun! These games are a big hit and if you have not played one of these I urge you to play them NOW!
Rating: Summary: the best Review: all i can say is. final fantasy is the best game i've ever played.. along with ff8. and that i CANNOT think of a betta game!! so, since the cover of tha book is of ff7.. than it gets my thumbs up!! ::::))))
Rating: Summary: Average strategy guide for a complex RPG Review: Making a good strategy guide for a very complex RPG is very hard to do. I'd say that this book definately has some screw-ups, but it is also very helpful when you are really stuck. If you want help without buying this guide, I'd go online and get help because a lot of people would say this guide isn't worth it and I can't blame them.
Rating: Summary: Could have been a little better Review: The boss strategies are relativley good. It may be a Narrative walkthrough but still its an RPG guide, it could have been organized. Next is, the bestiary is a bit confusing to read. I can't keep looking at the legend to find out what all of these f***ing symbols mean. I'm sorry but this guide has some errors. But it really helps when your stuck, and has a good walkthrough. It kinda lets on to the ending though with that ending coment. You should use this guide as you go through the game or get it afterwards.
