Summary: Telling it Like it Is
Review: I actually listened to this book on CD. Sean Hannity does an excellent job of logically explaining the way things are and how they got that way. It is not a liberal-bashing book, but a clearcut exposition of the chasm that divides liberals and conservatives, and why the division exists. This book is for anyone who is interested in preserving America's freedom -- the freedom our Founding Fathers intended for us to fight for with our very lives. Sean is very adept at making his views clear, as well as having a vast array of knowledge on many subjects. Don't pass up this book simply because you are a liberal or an independent -- this book is for Americans.

Summary: Read The Cover
Review: Conservatives have this idea...this obsurd idea that any agenda which aims to help people is wrong. They just cannot seem to paint the world they have built for themselves with any brush relating to reality.

This man and his book are a shining example of such an agenda. Virtually every opinion this man has are based upon his desperate need for the country to be a place where the needs of most people are subordinate to the needs of big business and corrupt politicians.

Just how out of touch with reality can this book possibly be? Well let me just say that something written on the cover was the main inspiration for me to read this piece of republican propoganda.

The cover of this book proudly states: "Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism."

Now anyone who has at least a high school education (provided your schools received enough funding to teach anything worth your time) should be able to notice the two words --liberty and liberalism--are actually rooted in the same meaning. They come from the latin "liber" which means to be free.

So is the light bulb lit in your mind yet? Okay, maybe not. So let me explain:

Basically what this man is proposing is that we should try to obtain freedom from our freedom--liberty from liberalism.

Okay, now I'm sure there are many hardline right wing people who want to disagree with me, but I'm sorry....this time there are no issues, nothing in the gray area. We're talking linguistics here, something concrete and factual.

So the facts are in, Sean Hannity wants our country to free itself from freedom. Therefore the only logical conclusion one can draw, is that Mr. Hannity wants our country to enslave itself.

The mere fact this man can't even understand the true meanings of words in his native language should let you know he's probably not very observant, or possibly worse, that he is well aware of the agenda he is proposing, and that it's slavery for the lot of us.

Thanks a bunch Mr. Hannity...we'll all be better off now that you wrote this hilarious book.

Would you trust the opinions of a man with no powers of observation? Wake up people. Did 9/11 not show you what happens when you adhere to the politics of selfish individualism?

When you go at it alone, you ride alone....and when you ride alone, you ride with bin Laden. Now that's a book worth reading!

Summary: A Great and Truthful Book: A must read for everyone.
Review: This book is an excellent piece of literature. Hannity eloquently exposes liberals for the frauds that they are. He uses a great blend of opinion and fact to show what needs to be done in this country. A great book by a very wise man. LONG LIVE SEAN HANNITY!!

Summary: Silly book, but at least you won't need a dictionary
Review: I admit I didn't get very far reading this book. Sean Hannity seems like a nice enough guy.... It seems like it's easy to be a conservative -- all you have to do is simplify everything. Here are some examples:

1) Some people are bad (or, if you prefer, evil-doers), others are good. It's easy to tell the difference.

2) There is some kind of absolute morality, and Hannity knows what it is.

3) Liberals are wimps for not agreeing with conservatives. They lack courage and true convictions.

Life would be simpler if any of this were true. Boring, pointless and resembling a bad comic book, but simpler. It's depressing people believe this stuff, but no one reading this book or listening to Hannity on the radio will be convinced by any of his "arguments." He's only preaching to the converted. Unless you already agree with his conclusions, you're not going to be swayed by anything he says here.

So. . . if your a fan of Hannity and guys like Rush Limbaugh BUY THIS BOOK! You know what's inside and you know you'll enjoy being told you're right about everything. For everyone else, PLEASE GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTTS AND VOTE!

Summary: More FOX News via the paperback
Review: This book is very similar to that of Bill O'Reillys' books in that they are very similar to what is said on either hosts' shows.

Hannity takes more time to lay out his arguments than what is alloted in the show's 5 minute segments using history and (gasp) facts as back up. Sure, some things are from his heart, but even conservatives are allowed to "feel" compassion about a topic.

I preferred more biographical tales of Sean than what was included in this book. Part of a man's character is defined by the path he walked; what made Sean Hannity the man he is today?

Summary: Close this book
Review: His smug look hides his ignorance. Go see "Bowling for Columbine" by Michael Moore if you would like to know more about Sean Hannity's agenda. He is part of the culture of fear that has swept america. Conservatives are fasionable and hopefully they will go the way of the bell bottom. It is his opinion though ... and he is entitled to it. If you are a conservative and want to confirm what you already believe then read this book. If you would like to read an unbiased, intellectual approach to the conflicts in the United States than turn to an academic ... read a book by Noam Chomsky. You are guaranteed to discover information that is based on fact and not opinion when you read something from Chomsky.

Summary: Nothing new, badly written. Other conserv. books are better
Review: I am a hard-core consevative, and this is conservative cheerleading. But there's no new information or arguments, and nothing terribly thoughtful. Ultimately this book is bought for the name on its cover, not for its content. It might make a good present or good beach-reading. If you want quality, keep looking.

Hannity likes short, sing-songy sentences, with lots of punchy, cutesy adjectives. It's an easy read, but how could he use so many words and still not say much of anything?

If you want new research and new insights, there are a lot of better (more thoughtful) conservative books on the market right now.

Summary: Stupidity Rings!
Review: And we all thought Rush Limbaugh was stupid! The factual errors in this book make it amazing that anyone would buy this book. I guess if you believe this stuff facts are unimportant

Summary: Liberals need to quite reviewing a book they haven't read
Review: I you haven't read this book please don't review it. People aim to use these reviews as a way to learn about the content of a book they might be thinking about buying. This isn't supposed to be a forum you liberals to bash this book because it doesn't fit in with your leftist view of America. I have read this book and find Hannity's arguments to be more compelling than many other conservative authors out there, although I agree with the previous post about the ANWR issue. The significance of the oil we might have gained there wasn't that high, then again, liberals also way over emphasized the "destruction" the proposed drilling plan would have had on the local animal populations. As I said, compelling book, even if I didn't agree with every single issue.

Summary: Complete and Utter Bunk
Review: This book is filled with lies. Enough said.
