Rating: Summary: A lusty read Review: This book was captivating. The author is as good a writer as she is an actress. I hope the show continues with this intriguing storyline.
Rating: Summary: Good Book Review: This book was good & explained alot of things that were not shown on GL. I read almost the whole book the same day that I bought it. I finished it the next day & was glad that I purchased it.
Rating: Summary: 1 star too many! Review: This has to be the worst piece of garbage I've ever read!.Guiding Light unwisely choose one of the most unpopular "stars" of the show for a book! Those 'trashy romance novels' will seem like Hemingway after reading this! The woman who plays Lorelai isn't a writer either!!I only gave it a star because there's no option for ZERO!! Don't bother buying it!!
Rating: Summary: Lorelei's Guiding Light: An Intimate Diary Review: When I first heard that Lorelei's diary from Guiding Light was going to be published, I was a little wary. I've never liked the character Beth Raines (I still want Phillip and Harley to reunite) or her alternate personality Lorelei Hills, and after I read all the negative reviews of the book, I really had my doubts. But I bought the book anyway. I was blown away at how well and descriptive, in my opinion, Lorelei's Guiding Light was written. I especially liked reading about Lorelei's time in New York and Chicago. Sometimes, though, the book went a little fast, and I didn't know what "Lorelei" was talking about. I mean, of course it's not the greatest book ever written, but it's still worth the read. Now, I'm a bit more interested in the Beth/Lorelei storyline, from this book.
Rating: Summary: What a let down Review: Would have rated lower if I could. Does not provide much new information to what you've seen on the show if you are a fan.
