Rating: Summary: Female Orgasm Made Definite Review: This book is written by a woman for women, but it is for us men too. As many of us now realize, intercourse defined as penetration only is not always the highest standard of female pleasure. This book changes all of that. A more accurate understanding of the female experience AND anatomy can lead to a truly satisfying sexual encounter for our partners and ourselves. With this book we can leave behind a legacy of sexual dissatisfaction and dysfunction. This book deals with the basics of physical pleasure and nothing else, no romantic implications, no struggling with shame or remorse or traditional identities. We need more authors like Ms. Hutchins to empower women to reach their rightful reward during the sex act. Female orgasm should be a given, not a maybe.
Rating: Summary: Engaged Virgin Like Jessica Simpson Review: I'm one of the few women who did not have sex with my boyfriend before we were married. It worked for Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, and it worked for us. My now-husband agrees. I was given this book as a shower gift, and it was so helpful. It made the first week of our married life an ecstatic experience that I don't think it would have been if I hadn't read the book. I felt as if I was going into the unknown armed with very useful information. And that's the way it turned out. Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: baby steps.... Review: Perhaps it was just my initial surprise upon recieving this book and realizing it wasn't a book, per se, it was actually nothing more than a glorified pamphlet... Whatever the reason, Claire D. Hutchins' wisdom was a great dissapointment. The "advice" consists mostly of deconstructing historical Western attitudes towards a woman's role in intercourse, and is anything but technical. If you are interested in breaking down your psychological subservience during sex, this may be a gentle baby step for you. However, if you are looking for even quasi-explicit tips and technique, look elsewhere. Every sexual advice column in Cosmo or Jane that adresses the same subject is going to offer the same basic advice, or in most cases, be more useful and informative (...) It's elementary, dears.
Rating: Summary: Male Reviewer Grateful to Author Review: Being a man, I'm grateful to Hutchins for giving me a break. Sex with my girlfriend was becoming more of a chore than a pleasure. I had to orally stimulate her for a long time before she was ready to orgasm, and by the time she was ready, I wasn't. It was just too much work. Now, with the technique described in this book, my girlfriend and I can make her orgasm come as quickly or postpone it as long as we want to. What a relief for me!
Rating: Summary: Yeahhhh! Review: This book is very helpful for all those women out there who think there's something wrong with them I was almost at the point of giving up hope altogether, but, after reading a recommendation by an Internet sex therapist, I bought this book, and it was one of the best buys of my life. It is easy to understand and gets to the point without dilly-dallying around what amounts to nothing more than relationship advice. I found it to be very educational. I have learned more about my physiology and how to press the right buttons. It has boosted my confidence in the bedroom. For women who have problems achieving orgasm, I couldn't recommend it more. Thumb way up!
Rating: Summary: Liked this Book Review: It all depends on your point of view, I suppose: your amount of experience and how much you are willing to put yourself forward in the pursuit of orgasm. I really loved this book. It gave trustworthy advice that I could use. It gave me something to try that I had never tried before. It gave me permission to have a clitoral orgasm. I liked it and recommend it.
Rating: Summary: It's all about Convenience Review: What many readers don't get is this book is all about CONVENIENCE! It attempts to turn orgasm for women into a non-ordeal. It seeks to limit marathon love-making sessions to times when women and their male partners really want long love-making sessions, not every time the woman fails to reach orgasm. So ladies, if you want to learn to climax easily, buy this book and follow the advice.
Rating: Summary: Apparently Any Idiot Can Write a Book in 5 Minutes! Review: This book proves that almost anyone can write and publish a book, regardless of their level of actual knowledge. Not to mention that the author, who is neither a medical doctor, sex therapist, or researcher, tries to make the female reader feel guilty for the way her body naturally works. Do yourself a huge favor and flip through the pages of this book at your local library or bookstore, if you are curious about it's contents. Then put it back on the shelf where it belongs!
Rating: Summary: Naughty and Fun Review: This is a great book that will help you spice up your love life. There is a lot of information that shows you an easy method to charge yourself up and improve your sex life on all physical levels. It is at once naughty, practical and fun. Even though some of the real life interviews made me blush, I mostly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: If you need help Review: After studying and carefully practicing the technique in this book, I would recommend it. I found it extremely useful. Anyone, man or woman, should read this to spice up and heat up even the worst sexual encounter! If it's not broke, don't fix it. If it needs help, you can find it in this book.
