Summary: Emotional Intimacy and the Ability to Have an Orgasm
Review: People seem to believe that emotional intimacy and the ability of a woman to have an orgasm are irrevocably connected. This is never done with men. Men are credited with the ability to orgasm during intercourse regardless of their feelings about the person with whom they are having sex. Why do people insist that a woman's orgasm must be connected to her feelings about the person with whom she is having sex? Of course, people who love each other feel an intimate connection during lovemaking, but this books emphasizes that the emotional relationship, while wonderful and desirable, is not necessary for a woman to achieve orgasm. The book suggests a simple procedure for women to follow to quickly achieve orgasm while having intercourse. That's all it claims to do, and that's what it achieves very successfully.

Summary: Five Minutes
Review: The idea of me having an orgasm in five minutes kind of freaked my boyfriend out. He's gotten a little older and is having some problems achieving and maintaining an erection. He's gotten slower, so he didn't want me getting any faster. What this book did for me was to give me a method so I could reach an orgasm even after my boyfriend was starting to lose his erection. It kind of helped him too because it took the pressure off. The quality of his lovemaking, though still important, is not essential to my satisfaction during sex. What a book!

Summary: Acceptance
Review: While full of useful suggestions, what I like best about this book is the fact that it brings a fresh perspective to the issue of female pleasure. This book is especially liberating for men, who have too long labored under culturally reinforced guilt when we fail to bring a woman to orgasm. This book is the first I've ever read that doesn't put the burden of female orgasm squarely on the man. Instead, it teaches that women can and should be responsible for their own orgasms, and teaches women an easy and effective means of accomplishing this.

Beginners will find it especially helpful. There's some interesting thoughts on inhibitions and useful information on fantasy as a way of liberating the mind for a purer enjoyment of the physical act of intercourse. I recommend it to all women and men as an easier way to improve our intimate relations with our partners. Finally, as a man I have an accurate understanding of what my female partner can accomplish with nothing but acceptance on my part.

Summary: Satisfaction Guaranteed
Review: The point of this book is very simple. It's about the best way for women (who have trouble reaching orgasm during sex) to have an orgasm during intercourse. It is not about connecting with your partner in a loving way or any other emotional kind of connection. It's to help women learn how to achieve pleasure in the physical realm. It achieves that goal. It's a simple and easy read, but not written for women who reach orgasm satisfactorily already. If you can't reach orgasm during intercourse, don't want to rely on oral sex to get off or use a vibrator, then try this book.

Summary: Don't bother
Review: Basically, Hutchins gives 3 steps:

1. woman on top
2. woman provides clitoral stimulation as she likes it
3. woman uses fantasy if she needs additional help to get off

While I fully believe in taking charge of one's own orgasm and appreciate the idea that just as a man usually controls thrusting in order to orgasm, a woman should be able to control the stimulation she receives in order to orgasm as well, I resented Hutchins's assertion that the G-Spot does not exist. She also went so far as to claim that many women suffer from urinary incontinence during intercourse, instead of female ejaculation. There have now been numerous studies that support female ejaculation.

I suppose if you are looking to have sex mostly for physical pleasure, then this book will be helpful for you. However, if you are looking to connect with your partner as well as experience physical pleasure, I would not recommend purchasing this book. If you are curious, get it from the libary (as I did). It's a very fast read but not worth paying for.

Summary: Very Useful
Review: We have made love about a dozen times since buying this book and only twice did we have problems coming to climax (which we did eventually). Now we can just focus on having fun, which is what we are doing since we also bought 500 Lovemaking Tips & Secrets which is REALLY great.

Summary: Intimate and Complete
Review: Since so many women have trouble reaching orgasm during intercourse, it is a shame that the entire focus of sex often becomes, will I or won't I? With the simple principles in this book, female orgasm is no longer an uncertainly, but now a given.

D. Claire Hutchins allows the goal of easy and fast orgasms to become any woman's reality. Happily, it is now possible for all women to control and guarantee their own orgasms! The pressure on the male partner to "bring" his partner to orgasm gives way so that intercourse can reach its full potential.

I loved this book and how it has helped my sex life. My husband and I are happier, more complete and more intimate than we ever thought we could be.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: This book is fantastic! It was so simple to read and the steps were so easy to understand and apply. I loved it!

Summary: Simple Technique
Review: This book presents a simple time-tested, people-tested technique for women to reach climax while having intercourse, which includes positioning for best effect. Women should also become more familiar with their own bodies through masturbation and learn to use that familiarity during intercourse. A woman who fears masturbation is likely going to have a more difficult time reaching orgasm. But ultimately, it is the mind that helps us reach orgasm more easily or not, and Ms. Hutchins also addresses this effect. I recommend this book. It is an eye-opening pleasure to read. The technique is simple and easy to use. And most important of all, if you can put aside your old prejudices, the method works.

Summary: Horrible...Would give it negative stars if I could
Review: The book in a few words..."Get on top when having sex." That's it. That's the book. Sorry, there is nothing else in the book to write the review about because that's all it says.

Of all the 133 pages, it was nothing but repeating that you need to get on top because you will get the stimulation that you lack when in missionary position. Get on top while having sex...and to top it off, save your $12.56 by not wasting your time and money on this book...double bonus!
