Review: I enjoyed the book although I could do without the 200 pages of whining Domnick did in the beginning. I was surprised and shocked at the turn of events and that pleases me because most books are fairly preditable. It's a good LONG read but one I do recommend highly.

Review: Wally Lamb has done it again. This book was fantastic. He weaved several storylines together effortlessly and made it almost impossible to put his book down. He takes on difficult subjects, like a young girl's struggle(She' come undone), Italian immigration, siblings struggling with a mental illness and writes them so intelligently. He is an extrodinary talent and I can't wait for the next book.

Summary: Every page, paragraph and sentence are worth reading.
Review: This book doesn't read like a book but makes you feel you are right there experiencing it along with the characters. Every page will make you laugh out loud. A book, almost 900 pages, that will find you zipping through it as fast as a book half as large. What an author! I totally loved this book!

Review: This was a fast read - very well written book about a really messed up guy. The first 2/3 was really good - but then it dragged along for the last 1/3 and then...wham! Suddenly this totally screwed up guy got his whole life turned around. The fairy-tale ending didn't fit the book. It was good -- but they are hard characters to like

Review: Wally Lamb has done it again! I didn't think "She's Come Undone" could be topped but it has! This book has changed my life. Even though my life was never even remotely close to the hell that Dominick faced, in the end I could identify with his final learnings. Wally Lamb has become my favorite author, and I can't wait for his next book!

Review: In 35 years of reading I've never been so engrossed in a book. I bought 200 books just last year alone, and read them all.

This one is magnificent!, I promise: when you read this book, you WILL NOT be disappointed. You won't skip a word, your mind won't wander, you won't be peeking in the cabinets for a snack! Chances are: you'll be so engrossed in this one you'll forget to eat, you'll find yourself reading so fast you'll be trying to slow down just so the story doesn't end, honest!

I've read plenty of "rave review" books and have been totally disappointed, read this, you will love it!, "I know this much is true".

Summary: A Great Read!
Review: Wally Lamb did a superb job taking the reader into the lives of the characters in this book. You want to reach out and take hold of the hero and tell him everything will be alright. There are tons of twists and turns and many humerous as well as emotional accounts of 2 little boys who grew up. I highly recommend this book. It's a long one but well worth every second spent reading it.

Review: I don't have a long "Best books" list, but this one has made its way onto it, very near the top. It was engaging and very moving...I had that rare feeling while reading as I neared the end and became panicked that the book might end and I would have to put it down...I can't recommend this book and this writer highly enough.

Review: I had just finished She's Come Undone and absolutely loved the way Wally Lamb was able to make you feel for his character's.....went right out to get this one and was not disappointed. As with his first bok Mr. Lamb makes you feel like you are part of the lives of those he writes about. Excellent book and awaiting number three!!!
