Review: This book left me COLD! It is formulated marathon sex at its worst. What a pity that Emma's writing has become so predictable, to the extent that storyline is non existant. Characters and place names are different but could be any one of her books that I have read, and just more of the same of Black Lace per se.

Review: I can not imagine, page for page, packing more sex into a book and still maintain some semblance of a story line, but, I guess I should have expected this from one of the USA's best and hottest 'erotic' lit writers today. I have to qualify 'erotic' since this book is not really eortic in the classic sense but rather an 'in your face' marathon sex race. The amazing thing is that it's so well written and scrumptious that you will not put it down. Definitely it's written from a strong woman's point of view as our heroine gets to squeeze her way into a sexual relationship with her two young hunk boarders. Note that I didn't use that 'homo' word, cause these two guys are probably what women would dream that homosexuals are like. Real life ain't like that, but, who cares we buy these books to get a look at real life ... I think NOT. OK so I loved the book and I think that Kate, Sean and Joe have to get gold medals if they ever make sex part of the Olympics.

Review: Kate, Joe and Sean are all fully fleshed-out (pardon the pun) characters, complete with fears, hopes, ambitions and flaws. The sex, though hotter than hot, is not gratuitous. Every scene means something, does something to the characters, or reaveals something about them. As usual, Emma Holly explores the issues of dominance and submission from both sides. A good ending, romantic, without being sugar-sweet. Joe and Sean, Kate's boarders, are lovers. When Kate walks in on them, Joe eagerly expands the circle to include her, too. As the novel goes on, Kate (and the reader)gets to know both of them, and really understand and love them for who and what they are. There are some role playing scenes, some light spanking and BDSM, and, as the title suggests, a lot of menage a trois. A definite must-buy, whatever the cost.

Summary: What More Could You Want?
Review: Emma Holly's Menage is my first Black Lace book and I'm hooked! This book grabbed me from the first page and wouldn't let go until I turned the last page. Menage is very well written, wonderfully erotic with plenty of HOT sex. Bad boy Sean, sweet sensitive Joe and the sexy Kate are all very likeable characters and I found myself rooting for them all to win in this threesome that Kate felt was doomed to fail from the start. But why not enjoy it while it lasts Kate wonders, and pray no one gets hurt in the process? If you have not read this book, do yourself a favor and find it!

Review: There is all too much erotica out there that is written about unpleasant people you wouldn't want to know. In Menage, Emma Holly has introduced us to three people I've love to get to know. You always hear that men like the idea of watching lesbians. Well, I got a real kick out of watching Sean and Joe go at it. And the fact that they both then turned their considerable skills on Kate...!!!! Well, bring me my oxygen dearie, I'm going back for more. Write faster, Emma.

Review: If you are a fan of Black Lace books then this is the book for you. Emma Holly is definitely the best that they have to offer. This book has everything. It's a very hot read not only because of the sex, which was excellant, but because of how well it was written which is not the norm in all erotica. So as a treat to yourself order this book. You won't regret it.

Review: I loved this book. So much erotica is either unrealistic or not-kinky, and this is a breath of fresh air! A wonderful romp while remaining something that could indeed happen in the real world, and hot hot hot! I'll be looking for Emma Holly's other stories with enthusiasm!

Summary: The Hottest Black Lace Book Ever . . . Emma you're the BEST!
Review: It is impossible to pick up Menage and not immediatly fall in love with the characters. Kate is smart, sexy and adventurous, Joe is sensitive, caring, and creative, and Sean is your typical misunderstood badboy. Te sex was some of the hottest I had ever read but it was seamlessly immeshed with a tender love-triangle story. Every person will be rooting for a different character but in the end you want it to successfuly work out for all of them. If you have never read a black lace book I strongly urge you to begin with this one. This book has made Emma Holly my favorite black lace author! P.S. also catch Cooking up a Storm and The Top of Her Game!

Review: Page after page of loving, raptuous, unimaginative description of how deleriously wonderful it is to be young and have sh** loads of money and no responsibilies. About as engaging, real life, and erotic as a Penthouse photo spread.

Review: Kate is an interesting, stimulating, and challenging woman; gentle Joe and smart-mouthed Sean are exciting and sexy guys, and the fantasy/role-playing scenes are so hot they really had me going! The resolution of their love triangle was a little too easy, but the sex was so great I didn't care!
