Rating: Summary: Thank god I go to school Review: Thank god my school made me read this book. To hear how good it is all ya have to do is read all the reviews above and below this one. This kid strives to become the ONE adult white american who is not compleatly messed up. Rock ON.
Rating: Summary: Impossible to put down Review: Simply one of the best books I've ever read, an emotional and extremely entertaining adventure for the Gen-X era. I'll never forget Chappie or the I-Man, or their adventures in Jamaica, or Banks' groundbreaking narrative style. Made me want to go out and get a tat. Hilarious and moving, I will not likely forget this story. Tarantino should buy the rights.
Rating: Summary: It was a great book. I enjoyed it alot. Review: "Rule of the Bone" was a great book.I enjoyed it alot. It teaches a good lesson on life. How you should not abuse kids, because they are very fragile. It shows how kids can make dumb decisions in one second that can chage their life forever. Whether it is running away from home or getting involved in drugs or gangs. It was one of the best books I have ever read.

Rating: Summary: thought it was good and enjoyed reading it Review: This book was about a young boy named Chappie. He lived in a broken down home with his mother and stepfather. his real father lives in Jamaica(which Chappie finds out later on).Chappie ends up getting kicked out of his house and moving in with one of his good friend named Russ. He got kicked out of his house for smoking crack and not coming home. In the house he also lives with a gang of bikers. All they do is stay home, drink, do drugs and ride bikes. They were forced to move out of the house because of a fire. A lot of other stuff happened later on in the book. You should read this book to find out about the rest of the book. I really enjoyes reading the book. Every time I picked it up I never wanted to put it down. All I wanted to do was read.
Rating: Summary: The book Rule of The Bone is a good book. Review: The book Rule of the Bone deals with a 14 year old kid named Chappie, and his problems with society. It shows that you can't judge a person by what they look like. In the book Chappie faces alot of decisions, most of them are faced by teenagers in everyday life. It is a good book and I recomend it to everybody.
Rating: Summary: A great book that deals with the problems of a teenager. Review: This novel was one of the most interesting books that I have ever read. Mr. Banks kept me interested in the novel by showing the real problems of young teenagers in our country. I recommend this novel to not just teenagers but anyone who wants to read a phanominal story of real life situations that happen every day.
Rating: Summary: "The Rule of the Bone" Review: I enjoyed this book very much. I have never read a book before, Rule of the Bone was my first. I enjoyed this book beacause I was able to relate to it. This book was in a teenagers point of view. It had to do with drugs, and today we deal with drugs all the time. I would recommend this book to many people because its an easy book to understand and it sets an example that you can learn from. It tells us all the consequences we may face if we get involved with drugs.
