Summary: One of the very best book I have ever read!
Review: Never has a book touch me like this one. It is one of my all time favorites. I have read it 5 times. I can not wait till my children are old enough to read it. It was so descriptive that I felt like I was there with them. I loved the characters and cry every time I get to the end.

Summary: Never find another book like it
Review: I read this book when I was 10, and have searched 5 years to find it again. During those years I have thought about it and longed to read it again. I couldn't put this book down, it made me laugh, it made me cry. There will never be an equal to this book.

Summary: A Most Memorable Read
Review: I read this book and was completely mesmorized by the story. It's one of those books that compels you to continually keep learning about the subjects even after the last page is turned. I wanted to know more about the Comanche tribe, Cynthia Ann Parker, etc., and checked out additional books after this one in a quest for more information. The story will truly stay with me in my thoughts for a long time and I imagine it won't be too long before I read it again. It's a wonderful saga.

Summary: This book should be read by all!
Review: This is by far the best book I have ever read. I love the fact that I can picture Wanderer and Nadauh sitting proud on Night and Wind. I love how discriptive this book is too. I've read this book three times, and I'm about to start it again. I recommend this book to anyone. It's not only a love story, but it's a story of the Comanches last days on their beloved praire.

Summary: You will never forget reading this book
Review: I have read this book several times and made others read it. Ride the wind is an education, a facinating read that makes you laugh and cry. You will ask yourself why and question civilization as we know it. My favorite book of all time...

Summary: I have read this book at least 20 times
Review: This book has been like a bible to me at times. There have times where I will just sit and read this book in one sitting. I went as far as laminating the cover of my paperback so I would not destroy the cover. It got worn down anyway :). I have just received a new copy from a friend. I will do my best not to wear this one out. This story truly touches your heart. The story of Cynthia Ann Parker is one of courage and then love and then devotion to the tribe that made her family and one of their own. A slice of history that is worth reading about because it scope is broader than just Cynthia's story. It is about the Comanches and their struggle not to be put into the reservations and it is about Texas. I hope that you give this story a chance. It is very inspiring.

Summary: A book to be kept and passed down like a family heirloom
Review: My mother read this book years ago, and spent 7 years looking for it in dusty used book stores and flea markets. Finally she found it and gave it to me. I can almost imagine myself as Cynthia... riding through the prairies on my own horse. What a beautiful story. I will savor it forever and pass it along to my own children and grandchildren.

Summary: Excellent and educational reading
Review: My friend read this first and could not say enough about it. The appeal is that it educates the reader about the Native Americans, the white settlers and the details about daily life, yet it also contains all the elements of a great story: romance, action & characters that stand out in your mind. I don't know what Wanderer really looked like, but I can picture him, sitting tall and proud on Night, with his long dark hair and Naduah by his side. She was a woman to be respected and admired. What a shame that the ignorance and greediness of the white settlers had to destroy so honorable a People in such a beautiful land.

Summary: Gripping portrayal of Comanche life on the plains.
Review: Robson's careful research captures Cynthia Ann's life with the Comanches, from her capture at Fort Parker to her death in East Texas. It shows the loyalty and devotion she had for her new people, the Comanches, and how she never recovered from her re-entry into Anglo society.
