Review: What an incredibly revealing and well written book by someone who had her finger on Hillary Clinton's pulse.Some of the things Barbara Olson reveals is Hillary's support for Bobby Seale's Black Panthers Trial to make sure he got a fair deal even though the Panthers justified the rape of white women by black men as a political act of protest against white oppression.She also interned in California one summer for Robert Treuhaft who was married to Jessica Mitford.Treuhaft "left the Communist party in 1958(Northern California Chapter)because the lack of membership made running it no longer viable".His wife,Mitford once called the Hungarian Freedom Fighters tossing molotov cocktails at Soviet tanks"grasping neo-fascist types".Hillary has never repudiated her connection with the Communist movement or explained her connection to two of its hardliners.Hillary wrote her thesis while at Wellesley and the interesting thing is neither she nor Wellesley will reveal what it is about.That,to me,is very frightening.Would revealing it show us that she is perhaps an avowed Communist or Socialist?This book shows Hillary will not answer hard questions about her past which we need to know,if in fact,one day,she runs for President.Barbara Olson,unfortunately,will not be able to keep us informed about Hillary any longer,she was onboard the plane that Terrorists flew into the Pentagon on 9-1-1

Review: FIRST THINGS FIRST: when dealing with a subject like the
character and ethics of the Clinton's, the SMOG IS RAMPANT, and
one HAD BETTER be CONFIDENT of one's SOURCE OF INFORMATION.Everything I KNOW about the CHARACTER & ETHICS OF BARBARA OLSON
is STRONGLY POSITIVE. After KNOWLEDGE I rely on my INSTINCTS which have served me admirably for 60 years, so far.
My INSTINCTS, after seeing her in a varied number of forums, observing her manner,
personality, and FACE tell me she was a GOOD PERSON . . .
no pretentions, no duplicities, no enemies of any consequence. So NOW I approach her book. It is + MUCH MORE + than Amazon's comments suggest: "Hell to Pay is yet another book on Hillary Rodham Clinton, this time from a conservative lawyer who served as the Republican chief counsel for the congressional committee investigating the Clintons' involvement in "Travelgate" and "Filegate." on a MULTITUDE of personalities and activities, just INCLUDING
travelgate and filegate. The book is exhaustive and exhausting.
Approach it as a serious student approaches his text books! Also, FORGET the CLINTONS's! This study shows how MEAN SPIRITED
AMBITION can evaid the customs and laws governing our republic. THIS should be THE REFERENCE BOOK for all FUTURE TARGETS of the
Clinton's SELF WILL-RUN-RIOT! It is said that the strong arm of
the law is long, and that what goes around, comes around . . .
but so far the Clinton's are laughing away . . . FAITH IS NEEDED
HERE! Now that I have finished this well researched and written book,
I am going to start "Hillary's Scheme" by Carl Limbacher. AFTER THAT, I'm going to give myself a break from this stuff,
enjoy the many wonderful things about life and good people,
forgetting that Bill and HRC even exist . . . until they
invade my space again. Sooner or later justice shall prevail. HONESTY - PURITY - LOVE - UNSELFISHNESS !!!

Summary: it speaks volumes
Review: it does speak volumes when 31 out of 52 people found a review helpful when the primary content was "the truth about the infamous, pear-shaped, waddling atrocity in a pantsuit. Fun and factual, this book is a definitive portrait of the over-the-top, Grand Guignol life of a true villain".
i think everyone can appreciate hillary's weight without reading an insipid, wing-nut book. why does her body shape matter? she is no villain, regardless what you think of her politics. why, the current president (who is not pear-shaped) has hired several CONVICTED felons (e.g. poindexter). the fact that they were pardoned doesn't change the fact that they were convicted and are criminals.
i wonder if this pulp would sell as well if it referenced a snarling, crooked politician, who put personal gain above all other, and manipulated the president like a small puppet on tight strings. but then again, vice-president cheney woudln't look that good on a book cover and probably has even worse legs.

Summary: It's hard to miss a target that is so big...
Review: One thing you have to say about the Clintons, they certainly give the world a huge array of shortcomings to be discussed. One of the difficulties that Barbara Olsen encounters is that by the sheer, overwhelming size of the negatives in Hillary's life it is difficult to rate the effectiveness of her research -- the target is too easy. It was humorous to read the one-star reviews by the people equating the work to the National Enquirer, and then see that they couldn't even refute a single point of the factual evidence. They may as well have written, "Please don't read this because it makes Hillary look really, really bad and I don't like that!". On a different note it should also be brought out that this book is about the enormous dark side in Hillary's life and bringing it to the surface so the public can be informed. One has to wonder how much of a field day Barbara Olson would have with Hillary's new book blaming the chief Justice of the United States for her problems with such strong evidence as giving her a "mean" look. This from the woman who turned away from George Bush and wouldn't shake his hand at his Presidential inauguration. Ah the life of comedy...

Review: Although a bit dated, Hell to Pay proves to be the real story of Hillary Clinton - not her latest ghost writer version. Olson chronicles Hillary's ascension to the top of the Democratic party - by all means necessary. The real Hillary - the high priestess of feminism, a cold, calculating and maniacal power-hungry tyrant longing to be President - is the real Hillary. Olson keeps you reading through her poignant and piquant look into Hillary and her public persona that she has artfully created throughout her years in the public eye. From the firing, smearing, and attempted framing of the White House Travel staff, to the ransacking of Vince Foster's office after his ostensible suicide, to billing records that materialized in the White House "like a gift from the starship Enterprise," Hillary has proven to be nothing short of a perpetual demagogue and compulsive liar & charlatan.

Review: Anyone that hates the Clintons, believes there is no such thing as prosecutorial misconduct, and that ex prosecutors are qualified to pass judgement on whom ever they dislike should buy this book. However, if you are a thinking, fair minded person, save your money, you may need it before the current president is done with us.

Summary: An HR-C classic
Review: What most impresses me about Ms. Olson's book is that it's an extremely readable, comprehensive account of the Clintons' scandals, lies, and PR dodges and spins throughout their many years on the public payroll. Although little in this book breaks entirely new ground, Olson does chronicle each episode without histrionics, and the astonishing weight of her evidence is a damning indictment of their arrogance, abuses of power, and diabolical manipulation of the media and public opinion -- not the least of which was the absolute willingness of each of them to commit perjury. Brava, Barbara, you made your case!

Summary: learn what true evil is
Review: shame on me for just getting around to reading this book by barbara olson. i was reluctant to buy it because i have already read her other clinton book (Final Days). the liberal feminists and liberal immoralists who herein bash this book should do so with more honesty. it is shabbily researched? no. written with generalities? no. dishonest? no again. heavily biased? certainly. how can one anlyze/evaluate the amoral individual known as hillary clinton and not be biased? granted, she is intelligent, shrewd, clever and cool under pressure. one must give her that. as this book (and most others) reflects, though, she is essentially a tactician with her strongest attribute - her ability to exploit her constituency base. anyone who carefully considers olson's portrayal of "mrs president", should surely feel fear - for what will we unleash if we place her on a national stage with the power of the presidency at her disposal. i understand the tendency for some (victim mentality) to identify with her. she has certainly received her share of challenges. but the author has done an admirable job of depicting the "other" side of HC, one that she observed at close range. if you love the clintons, and readily forgive their disregard for our heritage and traditional moral values, i could not convince you of the merits of this book. if the verdict is still out for you, read it. don't be dissuaded by the few who criticize this author unfairly. i believe many who have so passionately trashed this book have done so without reading it. they do it only out of loyalty to clinton and his bride.

Review: More contemptable garbage from the likes of another extreme Conservative. The majority of the book doesn't even contain facts. It reads more like a trashy magazine with the same amount of false allegations that themselves amount to nothing. Perhaps a revised copy of the book should be released and retitled: Hell to Pay: The Same Old Right-Wing Story of SENATOR Hillary Rodham Clinton.
